quizes in my short amount of time here...

But now I've thought out a quiz so devious and clever that no one will figure it out...

(At least not in a couple of days...)

Now you made me face the fact that I remember almost nothing of the Silmarillion.

It hurts, too.

Still, I'll answer what I remember:

6. The island -Lantyr Lamat, if I remeber correctly- where they lived for the rest of the lives. *satisfied sigh*

10. Maeglin ("the dark elf") was Eol's son.

And I'll be damned if I remember anything else.

 

Without any searching:

1) Celegorm, Curufin, Amrod, Amras, Maedhros, Maglor and one more (7)

2)Elwe, his wife is Mellian the Maia. He was from Teleri elves

3)Nauglamír

4)Dog from Valinor, belonging to Beren, killed by the Morgoth's dog while defending Beren

9)Calaquendi

10)Dark elf, he tried to kill Maeglin, his son, but Aredhel, the boys mother got the poisoned spear instead, so he was thrown from the cliff of Gondolin

 

10. Aredhel Ar-Feiniel was his wife and Maeglin was his son. Eol was thrown over a cliff for forcing Aredhel to marry him and for killing her, when he intended to kill Maeglin.

1. Maedhros, Maglor, Celegorm, Curufin, Caranthir, Amrod, Amras.
2. Elwë Singollo (his name in Quenya) was the eldest of the Teleri, chosen to be the ambassador to Valinor. He became King of Doriath and married Melian the Maia.
3. The Nauglamír.
4. The Wolfhound of Valinor. He was "owned" by Oromë, but served Beren and was killed by Carcharoth the greatest of werewolves, whom he also killed.
5. Lalaith.
6. Dor Firn-i-Guinar, the Land of the Dead that Live. It was on Tol Galen in Ossiriand.
7. Valinor was the Blessed Realm. The land outside the Pelóri was called Araman, though I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
8. Salmar - was a Maia, possibly linked to Ulmo.
9. The Vanyar were called the Light Elves; also all Elves to go to the Undying Lands when the Two Trees were in flower were called the Calaquendi or Light Elves.
