I was just curious because I play Warhammer.

40k but I would rather play warhammer but none of my friends do.

P.S. NZ does not have 50% of the worlds shepp just the highest per capita.

I have played Magic The Gathering and it costed too much money sp I stopped... D&D is much cooler

Warhammer, High Elves.

 

Well, not as much play, as I just collect and paint. I like that better...

Oh by the way, it's the High Elves I do, although I have some Bretonian and Chaos as well.

I have painted mine and sorta battled with a boy down the road (dunno who he is though) and won against his elves

Who here collects Dark Elves anyway? Vampires?

 

I played Necromunda and Gorkomorka which were both set in the 40k setting. but didn't cost as much money since they used fewer units and i found it more fun. I played Warhammer Quest some time ago aswell and that was also pretty cool.

 

I used to play WarHammer 40k

Now i just play Warhammer based Talisman

 

I started on WH40K, but went straight over to Warhammer.
I play an all Night Goblin Army - 4000pts.
WH is a lot better than W40K.

 

BTW. i play Chaos Undivided. Bloodthirsters rule!

 

I guess that I sould tell every one what I play and paint. I use the Dark Empire.

 

Haven't played for a while (actually about 5 years now), but did play a lot of 40K. Never got into WFB. Do admittedly have a 100% record at the latter. Lost every single game, but really just never found it that fun. Too inflexible for me.

 

I had always wanted to play it back in my days of Magic: The Gathering but could never afford it.

 

I used to, and stopped the last four years. However a fit of boredom led to me painting stuff i had lying around a month or so ago, and i was corrupted into playing the 3rd ed. rules for the first time and I remember one of the reasons i stoppe dplaying now, they suck. 2nd ed. rules though.
Also played warhammer and most of the other GW games too and used to have a huge undead army. Going to start playing more once i can afford to buy an army for warhammer, Chaos or wood elves i think.
Oh, and get harlequins for 40K again, once i feel in the mood for painting them .

 

Headbanger i made over £300 on magic the gathering by selling off cards that i had aqquired cheaply (or in one case where i got 20 rares in one pack, inc the rarest card of the set). I played for 3 years and it was one of the only times where money was never a problem. When i needed £100 quick i made it in a week trading. Of course my all time fastest was £30 in 10 minutes by getting some cards from America that weren't out here yet.
