    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and need a little help. I have just completed BG. My party consits of a character I created and other NPC characters (Imoen, Minsk, Kivan..etc).

I now want to play TOSC with this party, keeping all the experience and items. How do I do this???

    Any help appreciated.....

[IMG] Just install ToSC and your save games will be converted to have the ToSC areas accessible.

    Hi,

The problem I am having is when I defeat Sarevok, the game saves automatically and ends!!

How do I go from this completed game back to play the TOSC module with the same characters, experience and all??

Maybe Im a little thick...but I'm still not sure how to do this.

Once I defeat Sarevok, the game simply starts over and does not continue into TOSC. If I try and create a new game, I cant import any of my NPC's..only the one I created. Also, I cant seem to export any of the NPC's. So Im not quite sure what I need to do!

TotSC doesn't work like ToB or HoW: it's not an add-on that extends the plot of BG1, it just gives you access to the expansion areas. Load up your game from before beating Sarevok, and go to the village of Ulgoth's Beard, North-East of Baldur's Gate. All of the expansion areas are accessable from there.

I don't think you can start in TotSC *after* you defeat Sarevok. If you have a save game before you fought him the final time, you should be able to get to Ulgoth's Beard.

I usually play through to Chapter 6 - I'm a 'wanted' person and the Flaming Fist are hounding me whenever I show my face in Baldur's Gate. This is when I hop over to Ulgoth's and find out what's going on.

Hope this helps and good luck. :)

If you want to access the TotSC areas, after you load up your save like Magpie said, you'll have to backtrack through the underground city and the Thieves' Maze to get back above ground. From there you can go to the BG bridge area (AR0900) and exit that screen to the north. Ulgoth's Beard will be in the upper-right corner of the world map. I'm sure you can take it from there. :)

Thanks for all the great responses.

So as I understand it, you cant face Sarevok if you want to complete TOSC??? Correct?? So is the idea to complete TOSC first and then face Sarevok right at the very end??

Also..the party that you use for BG/TOSC can they also be used in the other BG games? Or Icewind Dale? I tend to like to keep the same party.

    Thanks all in advance.....

Yes, that's right. Visit Ulgoth's Beard, Durlag's Tower and the 'island' and then fight Sarevok.

Your PC (the character you created) can be imported to BG2 and you can play with the same character. Your party won't be the same, as some of the NPCs aren't in an unmodded BG2 game. IWD is different - you create all six party members. You can base your IWD party off your BG party if you want.
