    but they look so 80's! :D

    I don't know how I get them, but I do know that every drummer I've played with has had problems with them when he/she was starting out. I'm a very heavy hitter, which is in part due to poor technique (I'm working on that), and in part due to the fact that I like the sound. I play drums in a punk rock band, I don't think it would be appropriate to use a light touch.

    I just got a new guitar teacher the other day, and he's much better than my last teacher. My last teacher was a better teacher but my new one just likes to jam and play pentatonics. Heaven!

    I play lead guitar/vocals in me band 'Still Bust' We play punk taking influences from metal and Mellow stuff also.

    Um, We're 4 piece and we have roughly 6 songs but 10 more ideas ... er ... hopefully i'll be able to provide a link to our website sometime.

    I just celebrated 2 years of banging on the guitar. Still learning and trying to sharp the skills. It's going to take a lot. I'm mostly into metal, neo-classical, mainly shred stuff.
    I'd like to develop into a jazz-level guitarist, but that is so far away...
    Anyway, I'm trying to learn from John Petrucci, Michael Romeo, Paul Gilbert and many other masters of the craft...

    I used to play bass, played for about 7 or 8 years. I have played in about a half dozen different bands - styles varied all over the place - and performed at a bunch of local clubs. Then university started and sucked up all my free time. *sniff* :cry:

    Except for testing my voice under the shower? nope. Nothing. But lot of people ask me if I would play a character in a musical and I have been asked to to do some duets for a CD-recording. heheh.
    I would like to learn to play the trumpet some time. Awesome instruments.

    An other request then: Would you pleeease never start singing, playing flute or any other form of phonetic artwork without my permission?
    Also, stripping in front of about 180 people, all from our school, including teachers and principle; would you do THAT on request? Like during the gala? :evil:

    1) No. My musical power knows no bonds. It usually comes at random, and can solely be summoned at my will ;)
    2) 180? That's like, three times the amount of last time. So... No. Well, not unless I'm too drunk to know what I'm doing. *hint hint* Besides, sofar the sale of the Gala isn't going very well, so maybe they won't go through with it after all... :(

    Does singing out loud when walking on the streets count? I do that a lot. I am a terrible singer sue to lack of trying to improve, but we HAVE musical talent in the family... While I was in Elementary school, I used to play akind of a flute, but can't recall any of it.

    I actually sausaged meself to the singing at the school's Christmas celebration. Go me... not.
