    He takes up a slot where Minsc needs healing potions.

    I know it is stupid, but I have excluded Minsc from parties before because of Boo!

    [​IMG] I have rescued Dyenheir now and resurrected Minsc and everything seems to be fine. I am now at the Bandit camp and loving every minute of it. One more question: there is a little boy called Albert who is looking for his dog. When I gave it to him, he went through a portal door dimension thing. Who is he, as he must be pretty powerful?

    It is never explained, but since he comes from the Nine Hells, I would assume he was some sort of demon.

    Ah, Baldur's Gate is full of those kinds of fun little encounters. Just one of the things that makes it a great game.

    Actually, Boo brings Minsc's effective intelligence and wisdom up to more reasonable values and/or the minimum for his class. I estimate he's worth about six points of intelligence and eight points of wisdom.

    concerning the priest spells, I would like to say one of my fave must be 1st level spell command. I rather have my cleric memorize thisone over wound healing

    Coran is an excellent add to the party. I take him for his thieving skills and use him as a sniper (he has *** with a bow and a 20 dex). Kivan is a better fighter over-all, but Coran has style -- plus he's a thief.

    It really depends on what you're planning to do with your party. Nearest I can tell you have:

    PC (cleric)
    Dynaheir
    Minsc
    Kivan
    Imoen
    Jaheira

    You really don't need Jaheira in this party. The combination of Kivan and Coran will rip most of your enemies apart with their bows. I think by Cloakwood, I had dual classed Imoen to mage -- taking on Coran will allow you to do that.

    Well there is not a lot to talk about Boo, unless you install some mods. There is a (partially flawed) mod for SoA by which you can get him out of Minsc's quickslot and as an NPC.

    Since the thread starter himself took it off-topic, is it still a problem. I know that when I first joined I didn't want to start many threads while I was still a noob (aka a Turquoise).
