    Padeen, ancient Greeks did not have long swords but short swords like Romans. In addition, their main weapon was not the sword but the spear.

    The most famous weapons in Europe's history/mythology are:
    1) King Arthur's Exbalibur
    2) Siegfried's Balmung
    3) Thor's hammer

    I'm gonna have to go with a litesaber.

    Can you even *IMAGINE* what Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon would have been like if everyone had a lightsaber?

    Like, watching a Ballet of Death. When Zhang wades into that outlaw tribe, what if she did it with a litesaber? True, you'd have cut off a plot element, but hey!

    I'm nutty like that.

    Or if the Green Destiny was actually a litesaber?

    Then you'd see why everyone was sweating the sword. Governor Yu would have been like "What's this?", and promptly lit it, removing about 3 fingers.

    I always liked Elrics sword Stormbringer.
