In germany you are alowed to drink under adult control at the age of 16, and you're free to buy alcohole with 18 years. Good solution imo. It would be a little weird to consider people to be mature enough with 18 year to vote and to drive cars while not allowing to freely buy and drink alcohole.
Additionally alcohole is a part of european culture - drinking wine in france and italy is just as normal as drinking beer in england and germany. And since people get used to it more slowly they are unlikely to make crash experiences with it like in countries where it is strictly prohibited. Prohibiting it only makes it more atractive.

 

Yes they will. If you order it and are under 18, no matter who pays for it, they have the right refuse to serve you the drink.

Well, this weekend I had plans on getting absolutely slaughtered. And Tal's head won't be the only thing i'll be seing.
Z, I've been down the local Spar to get some Absolut Vodka for mother, several times. Nobody in the UK gives a f*ck.

 

It all depends on who brings what to the party, but I'll probably get pretty drunk. Luckily, even those rare moments of stupidity that caused me to get sick haven't cursed me with a hangover.

But i personally dont see what hype there is in drinking, yeah, id have a beer if offered... or whatever... BUT i dont actuallt get myself a drink...

MacShroud, I hardly ever drink, I only buy it for other people ( ), but this weekend is the last final year of school, and I wana get hammered!

I am legally too young to drink, but it hasn't stopped me before.... Heck, I have been buying my own drinks, without the help of a fake ID, since I was 14!

I have been drunk only once and didn't like it, so even if I could drink, which I can't because I live in that bloody hell hole that is the GH, so i must stay completely sober. Darn....

I drink once in a while and in small quantities. I don't think I've ever been drunk my whole life.

I was on Tenerife, so it was very warm... so I had an excuse to drink much And yeah, I don't know what was wrong firday that I only made it till 4

 

This weekend there's going to be a party at my neighbours (the parent are gone) and we are all gonna drink 'til we drop! And yes i am too young to legally drink but who cares!

 

I'll not drink alcohol this weekend. I drink today. A Chateau Lassus 1997 Cru Bourgois. I try to forget that i want to know the lyrics of a band i hate (the guitar). I can't ask them to send me their lyrics because they know, that i hate the guitar player(and i'm disappointed by the development of their music). And last night i dreamt i was on a silvesterparty with them. I'd rather want to dream of Tal's head on Damona.

I am to young to drink so I never drink. Ha ha ha that has to be one of the funniests posts I've ever posted.

 

My brain prevents me from doing anything stupid. Like getting wasted. I'm 15 so I don't drink anyways, and when I turn 21, I don't plan on getting drunk.
