Ok, here is the situation:
You are playing your favorite game. You're in the middle of a furious battle, crucial moment in city government, etc (you cannot save the game at this point). Your wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, etc comes to the room, looking very sexy, and says, "Hey Hon, I'm in the mood, let's go to bed" or something to that affect. If you leave, you'll be leaving during a crucial moment and all your hard work to get to that point will be for nothing.
How do you handle the situation?

 

Well, aren't you glad that most games today have the "PAUSE" option.

 

given that situation, I hate to admit it, but I would ask my 'hon' to wait.
Does that mean I am more of a game addict than a sex addict?

If I got there once, I can do it again. More than likely, while she's sleeping afterwards...

 

ToTal, I've never heard wiser words.

 

My husband would NEVER invite me to abandon a game for sex without first peering over my shoulder to see if something exciting was in progress (as if he couldn't tell from my swearing and/or war whoops). If it was, he'd offer battle tactic suggestions instead of seduction. When his always-excellent advice had helped me win the day, well, there's a couch right next to our computers on which to celebrate!

 

Who's the guy who invented the "pause" option? I need to give him a hug.

Then again, there is always the option of doing two things at the same time!

 

I always mention that (doing both at the same time) when Mortensen actually makes it clear she's in the mood if I'm busy gaming. But it's rare she actually says so and when she does and I suggest it she gets annoyed. Besides, she's just as bad, trust me
And that don't be disheartened staement works both ways

 

My only problem is that if I'm stuck in a game then I'm not at all in the mood because I'm frustrated. But if given the choice, then I'd use the all-powerful pause button.
