First off Full Metal Jacket sucks. It's a disgrace to the Corps and every marine will tell you that. for 1 that type of b.s. doesn't happen in basic, and 2 basic is much, much harder. So no one should ever list FMJ as a favorite unless you wanna piss off the Corps.

    My Favorites
1.The Fast and the Furious(what else would you expect from an import racer)
2.Bryan's Song(one of only a few movie's it's ok for a guy to cry at)
3.Rudy(another movie that's ok for a guy to cry at)
    4.almost any of Pacino's or Hoffman's movies(great actors)
5.[insert Vin Diesel movie here](an action star that actually knows how to act)

I got a kick out of FMJ's seargent yelling at the recruits.

I own very few movies 'cause I'm selective about the ones I'd want to watch again:

    Fight Club
    Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
    Enter the Dragon
    A River Runs Through It
    Dead Poets Society

and several Shakespeare adaptations 'cause they're supposed to be seen, not read!

Edit: I forgot my most recent purchase: Tomb Raider! Woo hoo!

Oh, and of course my favorite: Mathetais's honeymoon videos!

[IMG] Ah, having again seen this marvellous movie, almost laughing my life out, I had to resurrect this forgotten thread :shake:

IMO the best movie ever, my all time favourite is:

:spin: :shake: Dr. Strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb :shake:

*great* dialogues, wonderful characters and brilliant actors - namely Sterling Hayden as General Jack D. Ripper :shake:

I'm usually pretty picky with movies, so I'm surprised at how long this list is:

    Johnny Stecchino
Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
    Snatch
    Boiler Room
    Run Lola Run
    The Way of the Gun
    The Usual Suspects
    The Party
    Reservoir Dogs
    4 Rooms
    Mall Rats
    Clerks

Right now I have to say Pulp Fiction tops the list. It was easily Samuel L Jackson's finest performance.

I can see the scene in SW Ep3 now...

    Windu: "Get my lightsabre!..."
    Peon: "Which one is it?"
Windu: "It's the one that says bada** mother f***er!"

Well, I liked the Ghost in the Shell very much, but Bram Stoker´s Dracula has way more feeling in it. Actually; I think it is the best movie I have seen...or can at least remember right now. What was the name of that cop -drama again... A newbie white and a black veteran cop, hunting some psycho...? In the end, the newbie got his wife´s head delivered to him in a box -while the responsible was standing right next to him... Pang, he shot the psycho. It was well done movie, with "dark" feeling in it.
