I had this mark on my left hand... it almost looked like a big shadow or a very discoloured birthmark. It was on my palm and it was *huge*. I had the thing for years, only kind of being concerned about it, when I finally went to the doctor and asked. Turns out that it was an extremely rare fungus that was in a way kin to athlete's foot. The doctor even brought in other doctors to look at it because he didn't think they'd ever see it again. The stuff he gave me cleared it up in a manner of days, and it's never reoccurred and never will... But c'mon, why would I look someone in the face and tell them about that?

I have a simmering case of manic-depressiveness. It runs in the family.

I once lived next door to a crystal meth lab.

I have a tiny, but obvious scar on my wrist from where my little brother bit me when he was very small. Cannibalism does not run in the family.

 

I'm in the third nipple club too! All the great ones do, you know?!! It's about half the size of my normal ones and about 2-3 inches under my left nipple.

 

- I was born on Friday the 13th.

- When I was younger, my dad was an alcholic. We were coming back from a trip and my dad wanted to stop to get a few bottles. We were in two seperate vehicles, he was in a one ton truck, and me, my mom, and my sister were in a small escort. My mom went on ahead angry at him. We got a few miles out of town, when my pulled over, and ask my sister to get and use the snow to clean it off so she could see. While my sister was doing that, my dad came up over the hill and into the valley we were in, and pulled over at the same spot. He never saw us, because the sun was blinding. He hit our car, our hit my sister, and flipped her up on the hood and broke her leg. If my mom had not turned the wheel and had the brakes and the hand brake on, we could have potientially killed her. As for me? I climed out of the very back of the vehicle five seconds before the impact and all I had was the air nocked out of me! I was in the back with a T.V. and a tire...both were desinigrated!

- I had a gun put to my head during a robbery when I worked at pizza hut.

- I knew how to lay asphalt and run an asphalt crew when I was only 17 years of age.

- I ride horses bareback.

I think that is enough for now. LOL

 

- I play bass guitar.

- My basketball team has won the local championship (not sure what it's called in english, so local it is) every time we've been in it (four or five consecutive years). Go us!

- When I was ten, me and mom was gonna watch a parade in Stockholm, but we lost each other, and I found my own way back to my sister's place... ah, I'd rather not tell more of this, some embarrasment is involved

That's all I have for now.

- at the age of @ 10 months I had a near fatal case of spinal meningytis (sp). I survived (duh), but the doctors predicted that I would either be quad or paraplegic. True enough, I hardly moved my arm and legs for almost 8 months, then suddenly I got up and started walking. Haven't trusted doctors since.

- my alien family abandoned me in the wilderness and I was raised by wolves.

EDIT: Just realized that Death Rabbit wanted it serious...OK, sorry,,,the thing about the spinal meningytis was a joke

 

When I was born I was (mis)diagnosed with water on the brain. Had to be rushed to a major hospital down in Sydney on a plane.

 

Well let's see, my eyes change color according to my mood. They get a very bright green that's practically yellow when I'm feeling extremely... weird (On such occasions I've been known to hear wolves calling me) and a solid dark green when I'm really mad. They're also a very pretty blue when I'm extremely happy (but not in a hyper or crazy way) and a dark blue-grey when I'm sad. Otherwise they're very multi-colored (and don't match) with flecks and rings of all the colors. My ex-boyfriend also claimed that there was often orange in them after I'd been doing color guard for quite some time but never having a mirror handy I can't verify that.

Also animals seem to have an innate trust in me. I've almost gotten to pet squirrels several times and had mockingbirds sing only a foot and a half away from me. I haven't been closer than six feet to a deer though but I've only ever even seen deer 3 times in my life, one on vacation at the Poconos (when I got within 6 feet -- I was only about 4 or 5 though) and the other two were at my Aunt's in Vermont. But I tend to be able to handle tame animals very well also, to the point where I was able to keep a rabid dog from biting me on the way to school (that was the most frightening experience of my life) and I could ride bareback on horses and ride in a gallop at that after only 2 lessons. I also have a traumatized turtle that I've been working on calming down for the past three years, but that's a different story completely. (+12 animal handling for me!)

 

I quit smoking about six months ago and I havent't touched any cigarettes since. Sometimes I do smoke a cigar, but I don't inhale...

 

Silverwolf - you sound a lot like me. LOL

I have been only 8 ft away from a white lynx. About 10 ft away from a wolf. And thank goodness, about 20 ft away from a brown bear. Also, I have actually touched a deer and a wild horse. Mostly before the age of 14.

I too ride bareback, and have the ability to tame animals. I am currently working on a horse that had been abused.

 

Did you know...

When I was eight years old, I was going to the circus and upon seeing the elephants, ran across the road where I was promptly knocked over by a taxi. The funny thing however is that people swear that when I got knocked over, I flew 10m through the air, landed on my backside and then proceeded to slide another 10-15m along the ground. Isn't that a Guinnuis world record or something. Anyway, broke my leg and sat in hospital for 2 months. Didn't mind though, the nurses were damn fine!
