[IMG] If you mean LoTR: FoTR, then I've seen it 4 times already . Once with family, thrice with friends.

Seen it three times. twice woth friends and once alone just so I wouldn't have anybody bothering me with questiones or bad comments in the middle of a great battle scene or something.

[IMG] Why do you people see it so many times? Once is enough for most people. Twice is still ok but three or more times is too many. Some of you are going to be like those people who went to see Titanic ten times. I saw it last night for my first time. I might see it again but not three or four times. It was one of the best movies I've ever seen but its still just a movie. If I want to watch it tons of times I'll just wait till it comes out on vidio. Its a lot cheaper that way.

I saw it on a Saturday and had to go see it again on Sunday. :) My fellow Tolkein fanatic friends have seen it only once, but are complaining they have guests for the holidays and haven't been able to see it a second time. One of my other friends, not a Tolkein fan, also saw it twice. In fact, all the people I know in person who have seen the movie once, have either seen it a second time already or plan to do so when they have a excuse (like a friend who hasn't seen it).

Once with family. I'll have to wait until it comes out on Satallite to see it again.

I'm also gonna see the movie again.. soon.

Archer, it is good to see the movie another time. The first time you compare the movie with the book much.... Second time, you know what's gonna happen.... so you can look more at details.....

I'm gonna see it again in about two hours... That will be my second time, but hopefully not the last.

    Love the film.

I'll just see it once in the cinema. It get's to expensive if I see it over and over again. I'll just buy it when it comes out on DVD and then I can watch it as much as I want.

[IMG] One thing annoys me though ... i've missed the first 10 minutes of the movie on both counts! I hate being late for movies and this being LotR makes it even worse! I must make sure i arrive an hour in advance ... just to make sure!

[IMG] Ten minutes late! How did you get a seat? I got there 1-1/2 hours early on opening night and there was already a line. I've seen it 3 times. On opening night at midnight with me wife, that Friday with my friends and again with me wife this pass weekend. It gets better every time.

[IMG] I just saw it for the second time today, I took my mom. I have to take her to matinees, because she asks alot of questions, and talks to the screen a little. When Boromir got shot the third time, it seemed like the movie hit a quiet spot, and the only sound in the theatre was my mom groaning- somewhere between "ohhhhhhh" and "mmmmm". The few people that were in there at 12:30 this afternoon all turned to stare. I was positively shaking with supressed laughter. She gets so emotional.

[IMG] I have to admit, certain parts of the film does have an effect on you depending how much you get into the film and the actual book. The background music also tends to help loads!

Hmm... i'll be seeing it this Sunday for the 3rd time! :p

I saw it twice now and I'm glad... The first time I saw it I was much comparing the movie with the story.. and thus I was much disappointed for I looked much at the part that a movie always looses from a stroy.. the story itself... The second time I knew how the story in the movie was and I looked more careful at the environment, characters, locations.. and the secodn time I whas less annoyed by parts in the story that where changed or missing Iand I enjoyed the movie much more then the first time.

[IMG] I agree with Archer And Headbanger (Headbanger you agree with Archer even though you think not). Twice is most cost effective in comparison of money to experience.

Any more times and someone is either purposely senile or fanatic. Not hereby stating that this harmless fanatism is bad.
