Do any of you think that yesterday was er..
unpleasant or whatever?
My grandma hates the nr 13 and yesterday she stayed home the whole day. I don't think it is scary but sure, I have my own thingys...
SO what about you do you believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day?

Hmm, well actually Friday was probably the best day of the year for me. My Acne cleared up, had the funniest day pissing off a friend by insulting his girlfriend (now that i look back on it i was being an ass, but hey, it was funny) generally took the piss out of people all day and loved it (not to their faces of course). Got a laugh by singing a Barry White song in Science... Oh and at the end of the day, after many hours of making fun of my friends g/f, i decided to finish the job by going over and slapping her bum. (Then he got REALLY pissed) I was horrible all day I know, but it still makes me laugh when i think about it.

Fridays are the last day of the weekdays. How the heck are they unlucky?

 

I got SO KRUNKED last night. OH BOY was it great.

 

well i certainly dont believe in any bad stuff that happens on friday the 13th. as most of you said before, friday is the best day of the week...especially when the bell rings and school is over. but i was turned down by this girl..........

I had my birthday on Friday the 13th once and it was just as good as any other day. And nothing at all happerned yesterday besides a bad net connection.

Yes, yesterday was bad day, De La Salle University lost to Ateneo de Manila University in the Men's Basketball game. If DLSU won, they would have swept the whole elimination round and would have gone to the finals directly. Well, at least their still the top seed.

La Salle and Ateneo have the oldest and fiercest rivalry in the history of Colleges and Universities in the Philippines. The history goes waaaay back, and has spilled over in business, professional sports, politics, etc., etc., you name it. Even the religious orders themselves the Jesuits (Ateneo) and the De La Salle Brothers (of the Christian Schools) would be immersed in the rivalry.

Whenever there was a game, the visiting team supporters would all park their cars at least a kilometer away from the home team's campus, or they would return to broken windshields, flat tires (all four of them) scratched paint and other nasty stuff.

In its heyday, the police would always be called in whenever there was a game.

I have a number of officemates who graduated from Ateneo. I expect the office to be decorated in blue and white(Ateneo school colors), with nasty post it notes and letters all over. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an announcement over the PA system... 'cause we did it to them last season when we beat them in the Finals...

It was even better in school (four hours of englisch - watched sixth sense).

It was just another scummy day in a scummy week. Mind you, Saturday was quite cool. Now I'm off to work. Hard. For ages.

 

Our dog died last friday.

 

I don't believe in bad/good luck, and Friday was a perfectly normal day for me. But I did get an unusual big load of homework. Bigger than normal that is.

7 people died in car crashes in Croatia on Friday, one here in my town.

 

Friday was brilliant for me, probably because that Thursday was the School Ski Day and most of us went skiing. The point is, only half the people in our class came (approx. 16), and 7 of them went home. So we basically did nothing all day. We even got to sit by our friends and chat and stuff. Yay!

 

Bad day Friday - though the weekend was worse, I was in a meeting so I couldn't keep my luck by greeting the Magpie

No, I didn't have a good day, but I don't generally like Fridays much anyway, so no real surprise there. Sitting at home with absolutely nothing to do tends to suck quite a bit.

 

I used to be scared of it due to my religion but I'm not any more.
