[IMG] Anybody out there play with the FixPacks from dudleyville.com installed? I've been using them but discovered that when I try to cast Grease or Color Spray from scrolls, they just disappear without the spell actually being cast.

There doesn't seem to be any way to get in touch with the author these days via the site, and I don't know who the author is. (Does he/she frequent SP?)

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

No, as far as I know, the guy didn't frequent any other sites except his own. And he stopped even that some time ago.

I think Macready used some of it creating his fantastic EasyTutu. Perhaps you shoul PM him, he'll know - I think.

OK, thanks for the feedback. Just FYI for anyone else who experiences the problem: I yanked the SCRL66.ITM and SCRL70.ITM files out of my override folder and that took care of it.

According to the fix notes, the adjustments to the scrolls were primarily for casting range and such, so I don't think it impacted gameplay too much.

Just FYI for anyone who runs into the same problem, the "Slow" spell scroll (SCRL10.ITM) suffers from the same type of problem.

Maybe I'll have to figure out how to fix the fixes...
