    Well, I've just gone out and purchased the DVD edition of Baldur's Gate. In the box is/are one DVD (each) of the following;
    BG, BG - TotSC, BG2, BG2 - ToB

    After installing BG and BG - TotSC, and my version being 1.43...Trying to play the game, results in the machine asking for Disc 6...Which I don't appear to have.

    Anyone else encountered this problem?

    Disc 6 refers to the TotSC disc. The CD set had 5 BG1 discs and 1 TotSC disc, which they simply called "Disc 6" because they weren't anticipating this. And apparently also failed to make a new "need disc" screen to avoid this confusion.

    Ah...That clears everything up. 'Cause in my original Baldur's Gate (which discs are scratched and unusable...Which is why I bought a new set) I don't remember there being six discs.

    Thankfully the $10 I spent on the box set (bargain) hasn't been in vain.
