Bulky rebel and imperial fighters... Naboo ships do have some nice curves.

Just imagine cruising downtown in a classy starfighter... :D

    X-wings are winning, woot!

My vote went towards x-wings because they are just that good!

I like them mainly because of the rogue squadron books and the fact that they were the MAIN fighter in the movies(minus the ties of course).

    I always liked the A-wing.

BTW, did you know that Wedge Antilles (a pilot, and one of my favourite characters, from the earlier movies) is actually Euan McGregor's uncle.

I voted tie-advanced before I saw the interceptors but they are quite similar. The ties are always cooler than any nerdy rebel ships, their only problem is that they arent very safe for the pilots, thus tie advanced or interceptor with added shielding and stuff. :tie:

    Go A-Wing!

When I was younger, I was obsessed with Star Wars, and I bought an A-Wing toy for discount, because the landing gear wouldn't come out properly. What fun I had! :D

No TIE since I wouldn't want to fly without shields. Don't know much of the pre-episode IV starships so they don't get my vote either. Remains only the rebel starfighters. They all have advantages and disadvantages but I've based my choice on firepower. This means B-wing.

    @ Sir Bel
you forgot to include the TIE Defender.

    I did forget the Defender...Damn!

I picked X-Wing, although my favorite ship was the Y-Wing. Y's look cool, but the are slow. I'd rather fly an X-Wing into battle anytime.

When I played Tie Fighter the pc game, my favorite was always the interceptor...Great ship, even without the shields!! IIRC, the Tie Advanced did have shields in them...

Of those the Advanced, though you left out Assault Gunboats, Missile Boats, TIE Defenders, T-Wings, Z-95 Headhunters and likely some more from the TIE fighter game. :tie: :square:

Oh, definitely X-Wings. After all, I am a huge Rogue Squadron fan. :D

Although I just might have been tempted to choose TIE Defender seeing as they're pretty darn good...

Too bad you didn't add Tri-fighters, Clawcraft por skips. :p

TIE Interceptor - They're fast, they've got 4 lasers, able to carry missiles (like most other star fighters i guess) but most of all, they look so kewl! And I'd mod my interceptor to allow for shield as well (as is the case in the TIE Fighter CD game :) )

From my experience in Rogue Leader, X-Wing or Naboo Starfighter. The starfighter is much faster and more agile, but won't stand up to a barrage. Still, as you're in space, any hit at all should kill you, unless you have hields, and I'm assuming that Naboo Starfighters have shields...

How come we can't choose the "Millenium Falcon"?

Give me a broken-down bucket of bolts with oodles of attitude against high-tech perfection anyday. :D

Then I could satisfy my Han Solo fantasy!

[IMG] Because...FIGHTER PILOT!!! Not smuggler's ship!

I'd take the Falcon over anything else too...Well, unless I had my own personal star destroyer!

Interceptor. It's just so much cooler than all the others. Style, friends, it's all about style.

Call me crazy, but I picked the Y-wing - they are like the beat-up pickup trucks of the Rebellion... I love 'em!

OK, now who out there said "Y-Wing?". Good luck with those, slow as molasses, but they can take a beating.

My least favorite fighter on that list, the B-Wing easily. What an ugly ship.

The rest of them I like, especially, Naboo Starfighter, X-Wing, A-Wing, Jedi Starfighter.

I like Z-95's too, the precursors to X-Wings. Hopefully there will be some in Episode III.

What PC games do the Star Wars Spaceships feature in?

(I've only played the X-Wing Alliance demo as I am poor, my computer operates using valve technology and I almost always wait for games to be reissued in buget format).

Bah! Tie Fighter all the way! Sure one hit and you're dead. but what can I say, I like to live dangerously! :tie:

Edit: I can't believe no one else likes the tie fighter, ah well I guess you're all a bunch of chickens then! Or perhaps I'm just suicidal... :hmm:

Well, PC games that come to mind are X-Wing Alliance, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, Rogue Squadron, Battle for Naboo.
