Way, way back in my PnP AD&D days, I was the Dungeon Master. In one module was a "bad guy" named Keraptis. I made Keraptis into a lich, who became the scourge of my brother's cleric, Richard Blackmore. Thus I was known as Keraptis' DM, shortened to Keraptisdm. :D

There was an old TSR boardgame based on the first edition D&D rules. One of the wizards in the game was named Rastor. Whenever I played that, I always played that guy. Then I simply carried the name over to my PnP and CRPG gaming habits.

I usually use the name Fizz, but then Deathmage and Djenne made the Snaxtrix (our own Matrix story), and they changed my name to Fizity for it. The full name is Fuzzles Fizity Eternal :D

I used to use Lynx as a roleplaying name also ;) coolio

I had no idea normal people knew that. Believe it or not, but "Durandel" was the inspiration for *my* paladin's last name! Though I changed it in honour of his god (Helm)...thus "Durhelm"...

Well, idoru is a book by William Gibson.. scifi, but sort of closer to our time, no hovercrafts or lightsabres. In the book the idoru is sort of an electronic pop idol. Like the Britney of the future, except she is a hologram.

Sooooooo, my crappy explaination is that since I uh, play in a band and all, and since all you guys here ever see of me is communication in an electronic form.. voila. It's also useful because it's never taken when signing up on new forums.

[IMG] Mine came from my habit of doing anything in silence (I even stopped talking for a full month; until I was forced to do so in behalf of my grades  ), from my other habit not to make anything unless I believe its the right time (every time its perfect to please the ladies though :) ),from my habit to wake at sunset and to sleep at dawn and from my fascination with scorpions; the perfect rival (capable of potentially dispatching any opponent; no matter how big or small it is -from an ant to an elephant-, heavilly armored and armed to the teeth) and survivor (this thingie has over 420,000,000 years of being around and shows no signs of leaving this mortal soil ever).

And I came up with FFE...(Fuzzles Fizity Eternal...)

Hmm, didn't I post in this thread? Very well, I'll post again. Well, a long time ago when BGDungeon fell (I was known as Valygar back then) I surfed around, looking for new sites. Then I came across the Shadow Network with cool people like Shadowstrider and Fizity (who was known as Elyan back then, but then again she changes her name a lot :) ) and then I thought, whoa, all those guys there have cool names and I need a cool name! So I came up with Deathmage, and that was shortened into DM. And then it stuck ever since, and since I now have my website named Deathmage's Realms(Shameless ad :p ) I can't really change it... :D

Is that post too long? Ah well.

I posted in a thread like this around 4 times in one of wich I started. I got my name because I love using the nickname Psycho for lots of things like bowling or stuff like that. And the fanged rabbit part is from the fanged rabbit in the cave of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail wich is one of my favirote movies.

My name was given to me by the elves cause no-one was allowed to say may real name. After a few era´s terrorizing the world I let my servant Sauron take over and I retreated to my computer drinking coffee and posting all day.

My nickname means 'violent (spirit)' or ' a spirit that is violent' in japanese. I'm not japanese, but I've always been fascinated with Samurai and Ninja and how they would match up against knights in shining platemail and wizards with pointy hats.

'Shura' has been the name of most of my P&P fighters.
