[IMG] I'm going to say Coke, and I mean the beverage. :D And I mean the regular stuff and not the Diet stuff but that's just a personal preference.

I know that it's not technically "food" but while I'm adventuring ( killin the baddies and gettin the goodies :thumb: ) I sure consume it as though it were.

Finger food doesn't work because I don't like doing "mouse work" with sticky fingers and pausing to wipe off my fingers on a napkin isn't an option because the baddies gotta go and they gotta go now, and besides that's a very unmanly thing to do before a battle.

A real meal requires prep time and I've got none of that when I'm killin the baddies ( and gettin the goodies :thumb: ). But since Coke suppresses the appetite it's really not a problem.

This summer, at the height of my RPGing, I "ate" in excess of 3 litres a day.

It's truly the greatest gaming "food".

    What do you think?

Your better off saying #consumed' instead of 'ate'

Mine would have to be Crisps, you can get Multibags of 2bacon,2Plain,2S&V,2C&O, ican get through 2 of those umultibags a day, EASY!

    Sometimes 3!
Thats like, 24 packets of crisps, good job i run X-Country
and have Horsho Kidneys, and a fast motablism

    Raisins  :shake:  .

No really I like raisins but not while (as you said) I'm killin the baddies and getting the goodies. In the past few months that I spent doing nothing than playing computer I ate anything that was not greasy or sticky and I could get my hands on it. I filled my garbage can like once or twice a day (but those are mainly bottles from drinks).

But my preferred "food" was water (yes that's right water ). I don't know why but I drink allot of it in one day like 5l or so. I don't drink just water but I like it more than anything else (except perhaps coffee).

I don't have gaming food - I just eat *very* quickly
    eg.(I'm Frone)
Frone - Hey, I gotta go for five minutes, I'll brb, time me ;)
Scartooth - Okay, I'll just wait here
    Frone - Thanks.

Frone - I'm back! How long was I?
Scartooth - Five minutes, what were you doing?
Frone - I just had dinner.

to some this won't be fast, but it was Sunday and Jaheira does *huge* dinners

Aww, when I saw this topic I thought you meant PnP gaming... Ah well.

When playing on the computer I usually ignore the mouse and user the hotkeys and play with one hand and eat with the other, usually small confectionary items... Almond Sqaures... Country Slices... Slices of cake... The edging off Battenberg...

Now, whilst gaming in RL with my PnP group... There's nothing better than those burgers you get that go in the microwave and are cooked in 3 minutes, and the cheese ones are done to perfection :D Also, sweets help as well, packets of sweets... And huge 3 litre bottles of your favourite juice, or if you prefer, beer :D

When my girlfriend games with my group I drink juice or whatever's in the house, whenever she ain't there, bring on the alcohol!

Noodle soup.. Quick, easy, since you eat it with a spoon (and perhaps a fork) your fingers won't get sticky... and it usually stays warm for about 15 minutes, so it's not a problem if you have to make a break from eating to kill that orc.

Carbs without sodium are good. Coke/Pepsi mixed with ethanol for about 15% or so also goes well.

I usually eat pasta or crackers. If it's cold in the house I drink coffee, but if it's late at night I drink coke and either rum or bourbon. Expecially if it's a weekend night (like tonite!!!), and I have no other obligations except to lay the smack down on some Nazis or Orcs.

    Whoooo-Hooooo!

One of the great advantages of being left-handed is in the fact that I have become accustomed to manipulating the mouse with my right hand, leaving my preferred hand free. This makes the task of eating while playing all more simple. Not that eating is a very demanding activity, but it is nice. As of now, chips I'd have to say are the best gaming food. Simple, plentiful, easily consumed.

[IMG] Hmmm i like to drink apple juice from a cup during the loading parts of games and cans of coke if it's a fast game. To eat i just have a packet of mints or other chewable/suckable things i.e. mint imperials, worthers originals, raisins, polo's etc.

When i do actually have a break from PC gaming i play console gaming while cooking my 'real' food! in the microwave ;) Junk food is healthy! :thumb:

I would simply not be here today where it not for the saintly Pot Noodle's. :good:
Oh, and a good drink of Coke helps now and again when you're half asleep.
I think i'll have one now!

Even though some of those BG2 'Loading Area's take enough time to prepare a four course meal (plus dessert ;) ), I'm partial to Pringles (pizza flavour, yeah!) and anything sugary, chocolate-y and in the form of a bar...

Sandwiches, definitely. Rye bread, cheese and turkey/ham/beef combination is easy to eat, doesn't cause a mess, and is both healthy and nutritious!

Coke and a bag of chips work for me. :)I usually just eat directly from the bag so that I don't dirty my fingers. The numerous coke stains in my computer tables are the proof of their consumptions
