    [​IMG] Sorry to put such stupid topic on, but there is something I still don't understand. Imoen has got a unique belt on the beginning of SoA that "cannot be removed" from her.
    Does this belt have any special powers?
    And where is it, when you get Imoen back in Spellhold?

    [​IMG] It makes her immune to a lot of different things and is there to insure that she will survive Irenicus' Dungeon so the story does not get broken.

    [​IMG] when last i visited irenicus's dungeon, i dutifully cast web on imoen, and shot her with arrows, basicly, she CAN'T die, she always keeps one hitpoint.

    The belt disappears after irenicus' dungeon and is not to be found again.

    [​IMG] Assuming that Irenicus put the belt on Imoen to make her survive the dungeon (no-one else would have had the means), he must have planned a lot of what was going to happen. Why not just do his nefarious deeds when he had you captured at the start - was it to get to Spellhold?

    he needed time and was interrupted by the shadow thieves, instead of battling countless numbers of Cowled Wizards(cowled?) he decided he might rearrange his plan and then he made his plan continue in spellhold

    The belt does that in the game mechanics, but it's not really supposed to in the plot. According to the belt's description, it's an heirloom from Imoen's mysterious childhood. It's not actually supposed to have made her invincible--that's just in the game mechanics so that people don't kill Imoen and ruin their game. (-:

    #2. imoen is completely useless, and i usually feel discouraged at SoA, for the only objective is to rescue HER and she just comes off as annoying.
