    Now Ladies and Gentlemen. The purpose of this thread is not for the sexes to take pot shots at each other :( . If it weren’t for both sexes, the race would die out. Where would we be then? :nolike: Now granted some extreme naturalist may prefer that outcome, but I suspect that most of us here would prefer a less extreme world.

    I am female...as mentioned by before.

    I seem to notice that the feminine population of SP is growing steadily and not just the boys coming on here.

    There should really be options for both and neither - just to be correct and all :thumb:

    Let me start by saying that this gender poll was for humans only. I could start another poll for species (i.e. humans, canines, felines, space :alien: , etc), if we have enough interest :D . So if we really want to be talking about a species/gender poll, the following explanations go out the window. :lol: :lol:

    Both:
    I guess you would be both, if you had a sex change. But then, in the interest of accuracy, I'd want two options: Male->Female and Female->Male. There’s my anal-retentive side coming out again, (note the hyphen :book: ). However, sex change operations, include hormone therapy to coerce the body to ‘believe’ it’s the other sex. The body still has its original sex, because the chromosomes have not been changed. So you wouldn’t really be both.

    Neither:
    The most common version that comes to mind are eunuchs and hermaphrodites. Like the sex change above, the person still has their original sex. They just don’t have any the reproductive equipment, or the hormone treatments. As above they still retain the their original chromosomes. So they wouldn’t be neither either.

    So that’s why I only included the Male and Female categories. If I missed something let me know, age, gender or experience doesn't mean you have all the answers. Thou it might make you think you do. :) :) :)

    why are eunuchs not male, its just like when I was getting my cat "helped" (he´s looking angry at me BTW) and a person ask "what is he a male or female" what would I had to say?? "Neither he is a you-know-what-cat"

    When I said neither I was playing around - on a game you can cast a spell 'Change Sex' (Temp only) You can be M, F or N (an it!)

    Right on reepnorp, it's right here!

    But Velcro can still stake out a claim for originality. IIRC, sex means man or woman while gender deals with your role in society defined by modern culture. (Think "gender roles", so a female president's sex is female, but gender is male.)

    Therefore the poll is somewhat different, but I suspect that most people voted "normally" and wouldn't care anyways.
