    [IMG] Hello all!

What I'm about to show you are just previews because Sorc told me that if I make all these into themes, then he'd be putting them up here at www.sorcerers.net. Thus these two bitmaps will be included in the themes I'm planning to build and will be available by next week (I hope).

Here's a new Viconia nudie. I made it look like as if it was an oil painting (Adobe Photoshop effect), complete with canvas effects and frame. Also, this retouch is based on Zdenka, the model that Viconia was based on, so I guess I got her face "nearly" right...this is a censored pic--final version that comes with one of the themes will be uncensored:

    http://www.no-spin.net/rodenka/vic_oil_prev.jpg

Next we have Aerie...this is practically free (just right click on image and save as). She is NOT nude. She is wearing a thin nightgown of sorts. I framed this pic as well, although it's meant to be a photograph, and not a painting:

    http://www.no-spin.net/rodenka/aerie_prev.jpg

She too will be included in one of the desktop themes I'm releasing next week.

    Comments are highly appreciated!

hmm, somehow I think it is rather impossible to make aerie with any photograph, she is just, well, the elven features stand really strong in her portrait, and it's hard to make them fit with a human body I think.

    The viconia pic is good

[IMG] Aerie looks weird in the game itself, what do you think that someone will actually take that stupid pose in the real life?

Just congratulate the man for his efforts.

Viconia is very good, Aeris does look a little copy-pasted though. Keep up the good work.

[IMG] Aerie looks way too busty. According to what she's been through, taking into account her voice and all would make her look a lot more frail than that.

The Aerie definetly needs some form of body art like tatoos to match her face. but look good. Ye're a big goof worrying about sensoring, but then you are asian, so it is understandable. :p

Also, remember that Aerie has scars from when her wings were hacked off.

Marcantony, yep, you are correct...my previous pic shows a thinner Aerie and I guess that's more like an elf than in my latest pic (steven11 also pointed this out to me). So I guess I'll have to look for more pics of thinner models (but not anorexic ones). :) If not then I'll stick with my previous Aerie pic, but I'll "enhance it more" (tattoos etc, read below)...

Tal, okay, yes, I listened to her voice last night over and over again, and I think I can picture how frail she ought to be...so now I'm on the hunt for a thin model.

Mendanbar, yep about the tattoos, I originally planned that--might implement it in next Aerie...BTW did Aerie have those tattoos when she was still a winged-elf? Do all the Avariel have tatoos? Why am I asking this? Well, I plan to do a younger Aerie complete with wings in the future. :)

Bat, yep, I can do that, show the scars (sawed-off wings)...all I need is to find that thin model, and then search for a pic where she shows her back...then add the scars...

That's it for now! :) Thanks for all your comments, guys!

    Lokken, you said:

"hmm, somehow I think it is rather impossible to make aerie with any photograph, she is just, well, the elven features stand really strong in her portrait, and it's hard to make them fit with a human body I think."

I just has a frightening vision. That of making an Aerie "body" from scratch, which I elect not to do. Why? Well, yes, I can do it, draw a new custom-built Aerie body from scratch--I also draw freehand using pencil and paper. My concern is, if I were to make an Aerie with "strong" elven features that I imagine to be (AD&D type of elves) and based on her BG2 portrait, I might end up making some sort of naked "X-Files" alien type of creature...(shudder)...scary. :)

[IMG] And oh, I forgot...if you guys know of female BG2 players who want some pics of Keldorn or Haer...NO...NOT NUDE (gotcha hehehe)...but showing more of their body (as contrasted to the BG2 portraits where you only mostly see their heads), then please tell them to get in touch with me and I shall see what I can do. I think I can make say, a full-sized "Edwin Mage in Thought" picture, or a "Firecam in action" thing...even guys will be interested in that I think :)

Why do you need any screenshots of any game?

Why do we need any sorts of wallpaper?

Why do we even bother to play games when we could be doing something with a point.

Dont ask stupid questions, that only have the answer: because we want to.

Tal is serious about the double posting Rodenka. He is already making streches for you.

    Taluntain,

I actually read that earlier but I chose to double because of another distance-related, internet-related reason. 'Net's so slow from where I'm at, that it's faster to double than to wait for the edit screen to come up. Since you've been strict about this ish, then I shall comply. Sorry for this behaviour. It won't happen again.

As regards to the "upping your avatar" thingie, well, I don't particularly like the rank system. I mean, in Rogue Spear related boards I go to, one usually can configure his/her avatar/profile himself/herself. Freedom. Having this sort of system (ranked acc'ding to numposts) is kinda "elitist" (but don't mistake me, it's indeed useful, because you automatically know who are the "old-timers" here) in a way. Also, it cna be misleading to newcomers--for instance I wrongfully accused Elessar for using Aragorn's name in a sort of insulting way (i.e. the irony of the Elfstone being a goblin) because I thought he *chose* to be a goblin chief. :) For that I'm sorry Elessar. ;)

Finally, Tal, I am happy to report that the two desktop themes I am making are going along pretty well. Last night I had to spend three hours sorting through BG2 soundfiles (using GAP), and picking the right sounds for the themes...but at the sacrifice of me giving up my BG2 play-time (I'm still stuck in the D'Arnise castle, any tips guys? I'm up against this tough Umber Hulk that I can't seem to get past). But it was worth it...tonight I might also sacrifice more gaming time because I'll be working on the cursors and animated icons :)

I want to submit a funny (well at least I think it's funny) screenshot of my party having a "dance" with golems and this one HUGE iron golem (D'Arnise golems). Can I?

    That's all Tal...

    Now Dark Phoenix,

I am sorry if you feel that way. But I am torn between being "moral" and "formal" and being a member of the male species with primitive basic instincts. :) As I've explained in my earlier posts, I am doing this because it helps me exercise my artistic skills while at the same time having highly interesting (hehehe) subjects to deal with...yep, the eroticism involved in what I do provides fuel for the need to do it. Simple as that. I hope you see what I mean here. Again, I don't care what end-users do to my pics (benigningly collect merely for the sake of collecting, or use them for "other" twisted means). Also, Tal encouraged me (or was it Sorc, or are they the same person?) to do these in a way (he'll be posting both my themes when I'm done with them) so I am doing them eagerly. Thus the solution about my planned adult-oriented themes? Like 'em? Get them. Don't like 'em? Forget 'em.

Also, I'm making a NON-SEXUAL-RELATED BG@ theme...maybe I can interest you in that...in fact 2 hours of my 3 hours last night were spent on THAT theme's sounds because I want everything to be JUST right. :)

and finally, Bat, you're right on the money. :) Thanks.

    -RODION

P.S. Forgive me for being such a blabbermouth. Not being a native speaker of your language forces me to elaborate my thoughts to the fullest in anticipation or in the worry that I might be mistaken in what I say. Good day :)

    [IMG] Thanks Bat. :)

Here is a preview of my planned BG2 Desktop Theme (non-sexual version):

    http://www.no-spin.net/rodenka/th1samp.jpg

I plan to change most icons (including some drives and folders).

I might change that background (too common) with some altered pics of some in-game screenies I got.

In the package will be versions which do not have Celtic-type fonts, so that people who have a hard time reading them can use a more eye-friendly font-scheme. :)

The sounds are nice, for my taste but some people might get annoyed because I "audionized" most of the actions...I'll release a patch for those who like lesser sound-effect while working in windows...so what is the effect of my current sound scheme? It would be as if you never left BG2 hehehe...I minimized on character voices and focused more on sounds such as sword clangs, coin jigglings, spell casting, etc. because my SEXUAL BG2 THEME version has LOTS of female sounds (hehehe) already. :)

Finally, I'm making several types of screensavers, ranging from simple ones made by ScreenSaverShot v2.0, and maybe a SWF (or Flash) version, using YAFS-M Screen Saver Maker. :)

Finally (whew) there will be several startup, wait-for-shutdown and shutdown screens available. :)

All of the above descriptions will be applied to my other, the "GIRLS OF BG2 Desktop Theme" as well.

    -RODION

P.S. I noticed that my pointers and icons (and most theme-based pointers and icons for that matter), seem to go opaque (i.e. transparent parts are colored black) when used under WindowsNT v4.0. I tried installing my preview at work (I work on an NT4 Workstation) and they didn't turn out right...so I guess this theme is mainly for Win98.

    =========================================
UPDATE! I have made a new Aerie composite which is I believe, looks more convincing as Aerie (used thinner girl and I also placed some simple tattoos on her arms and belly)...tell me what you guys think of this new Aerie:
