    Hey,
I just started playing BG2 after leaving it at home in Scotland for 2 years whilst i went to live in Egypt. I've now moved back and have eagerly started to play it again. However, whilst fighting the Shadow lord at the temple ruins Yoshimo and Aerie were killed. Is there anyway i can ressurect them?

    Thanks

Use either a wand of resurrection (you can buy one at the Adventurer's Mart) cast ressurection on them (if you have a cleric of high enough level), or bring them to a temple, and pay for that service. Any of those three options should work.

I bet they cost a nuclear bomb... i'm so poor and having to save up to rescue that moaning Imoen doesn't help. Oh well, thanks anyway.

The wand is pricey - with an average rep you're talking somewhere around 10,000 gp.

Temples are cheaper - it will probably cost you a couple of thousand there.

Spells are free, and raise dead is only a 5th level spell. Unless Aerie is your only cleric, (in which case I'd recommend reloading and doing the battle again until she lives) you should be able to cast that spell. Worst case scenario, walk back to town and pick up Jaheira or Anomen, have them ressurect the party members and then pick up whoever your dropped.

Note you cannot drop a dead character and get them back later. Once they are dropped they are dead forever. If you need to bounce someone from your party to pick up another cleric, I'd recommend Minsc. He will always rejoin the group.

    /Irish accent.

Just reload and try doing better, lass. Or take the stuff and gold, hike ye arse back to the Trademeet; 2000 gp goes poof and they're back on track. Hah, nothing like dragging a pair o fresh corpses around the land -lovely smell in the morning, don't ye think?

    :p

You can also pick up a Rod Of Resurrection in the game... I think it's in the keeping of the mage who captured Haer'Dalis. You don't have to kill him, just do what he asks of you and it will be yours to loot when he leaves.

When they died; did they split into pieces or dissapear from your party list? Because if they did, you wont be able to bring them back to life

One very good reason to go Solo, hahahaha. No fresh corpses but your own.

You could always recruit either Anomen or Jaheira into the party as they can both resurrect the dead.

Yes,the wizard who captured Haer'Dalis has a Rod of Resurrection. His laboratory is in the Temple District sewers. If you regain his mirror from the imp and return it to him(or if you want, kill him),there is a Rod of Resurrection in that room.

you can buy a rod of resurrection from adventurer's mart in wakueens promenade in athkala but it will cost you a pretty penny. Your best bet is probably just to get Jaheira or Anomen to do Harper's call / resurrect dead.
