[IMG] There is, or was, a site that had comments on every spell in BG2 comlete with bug lists.

Could someone please post the link to that place?

Linking to my own site on my own site is the highlight of my day... Look into the Tips, Tricks & Hints subsection. There are full spell guides to both wizard and priest spells there.

[IMG] Thanks, but I already have those documents saved. :)

The site I'm looking for was very well researched. They understood perfectly how the spells worked in the game and explained those that were bugged... or how the way they worked differed from how the were described/supposed to work. As usual there was an evaluation accompanying each spell too.

Not sure about the following but it just might ring a bell for someone so here I go:
I think several people were involved in that page. Perhaps Team BG members were involved.
I think there was a system with icons in each spell description but I don't recall what the icons signified.

[IMG] Funny, I have never heard of or seen such a site. If you manage to find it, post the link here, I'm curious.

Actually I'm curius about that too.
There was a certain debate on some spells whether should those be cumulative or not. Besides, I'm aware of the differences between spell descriptions and actual behavior, however, for some it's pretty hard to determine should I leave those unchanged (for the SPfixpack, of course).

Anyway, I won't move this to BG2 forum(s). If anyone knows where is that site, post the link with light speed!

Are you talking about Game Banshee?
    http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursgateii/

They have their own opinions of every spell, dunno about the bugs. Hope this helps!

They also have this interesting article about the silver pantaloons, and how you will reap some great reward for following this mystery from BG1 to ToB. Only experience I had with it was in BG2 when you discover the ransom note in the Bridge District and end up getting silver pants in return for the female captive at the Slums.

[IMG] Nope, definitely not GameBanshee. More like a Yahoo Groups thing. Something like InfinityScripters... but, thanks for trying! :)

It's not Infinity Scripters either. Those deal with BS and BCS scripts only.

Also, there is another yahoo group (I forgot the name) that made some customization on existing spells so those can be detected from the scripts. But this group doesn't have reviews on spells. Post if you're perhaps ment that one. If you did, I'll dig up the link somewhere ;)

    [IMG] Found it!

    By coincidence of course!

The site is brilliant! You must visit and bookmark it!

    Edited:
My face is kind of red now... BlackRose appear to have found the site only about a week after I started this thread. I must have forgotten about this thread after the few initial unsuccesful replies.

A belated Thank You to Black Rose! :)

Actually, the question is, what's this doing in Whatnots? Hehe. Moving.
