What's your favorite place in Faerun?

    Faerun is a big place, so I was wondering what your favorite place is Faerun was.

    Mine would have to be around the Ten Towns...besides the fact of being so horribly cold all the time, I like being around the "rustle and bustle" of the city. Plus, there is a pretty famous Drow living just up the mountain side with his panther.

    So, what's yours? :roling:

    2. My favourite place have to be the North in general, but mostly the Ten-Towns- So pretty much like your choise. But I don't like Drizzt too much.

    I like most of the places in Fareun....
    some of the places that intrigue me are halrunna, lurien, lantan, mulharod and uther.
    some of my favorites are rashemen, The general sword coast (waterdeep and neverwinter), amn and calishem.

    Other places I'd like to see are Menzoberranzan, for it's bizarre beauty, Waterdeep, because it's so big, Icewind Dale for arctic beauty and exotic Jungles of Chult.

    Mostly any rural small city/big village in the vicinity of a metropolis. Like Goldenfields near Waterdeep.
    There is a huge Temple of Lathander in Waterdeep, quite intresting for a Morninglord like my chars used to be. My lover is a cleric of Chauntea (Lathander gets on well with Chauntea) who lives in Goldenfields. Oh, so romantic! :p

    This might be a nice place for a morninglord. I doubt a Dwarven Berserker would feel okay there, though.

    But there are so many, many places I could mention...

    I like the Silver Marches. I don't know why, but that place just appeals to me.

    I think the Dalelands would be my second choice, with no particular dale as my favorite.

    Ack! How could I fogotten about Menzoberranzan? I just read through the Dark Elf Trilogy for the 2nd time recently, and I would love to vist it if I were a demi-god...that way they couldn't put up a fight... :rolling:
