  2. Wulfgar. I'm getting a little sick of Drizzt. Maybe Alias?
What was the name of Elministers scribe? Lahaeo? I'm gonna say him! I hope he gets his own series!

I used to like Drizzt, but his consistant goody two-shoesness just makes me sick.

Perhaps My favorite is that aquatic guy in Under a Sea of Falling Stars.

    is that the dwarf beserker?

I like the dwarf do-da, not "favorite", but he's still cool.

Three years old. Wow Bel ... you do need help ;)

Man I miss the old Egg. He was a good egg, wasn't he?

Makes me miss Slappy's grinning skull too.

Well, I liked some of them, but none so much as to call him favourite. Drizzt sure, read 6 books of him and his pals. Will soon read the Avatar trilogy. Some of them I know from games and other sources. Well, maybe some of the deities then. Midnight will be in Avatar, but Helm is also somehow intriguing. Lathander looks as though there were some mystery behind him. Some unspoken knowledge hidden inentiously rather than forgotten.

And if we include game characters....

    chevalier the paladin :p ;)

    @ Lord Balduran:

    It was Lhaeo. ;)

I haven't read too many F&R books. Only Drizzt's, Elminsters and Shandrils. Elminster / Elmara was highly interesting in his first book, but got rather too boring after that.

I have a few names I could say, but since only one is needed, I'll go for Jarlaxle and Simbul. Both are more complicated than normal characters, and neither fit into the "good" or "evil" cathegory being a combination of both.

I do not feel like choosing any really but Jarlaxle is a rather intriguing character and Artemis Entreri is also one in his better moments.

From Forgotten Realms: It would have to be Artemis Entreri. Swordsman, assassin overall badass.

But of all the WOTC/TSR book publications, I'd have to go with Strahd Von Zarovich of Barovia from the Ravenloft setting. Now that is a vampire that is neither a ravening beast nor a good-at-heart-angst-filled wimp.

Dracula with 100000000 times the style and little of the angst of Anne Rice's novels.

Strahd should have his own alignment: Classy Evil.

To me, a hero is the protagonist of a story. Both Strahd and Artemis have their own books, hence they qualify.

    Artemis for me, too.

Although I must admit, I have a soft spot for Danil Thann and Elaith Craulnober... those two manage to crack/cheer me up any day of the week.
