OK, help me out here. I've asked this before, and I've searched the archives, but I'm still lost. I've read posts from a few years ago that state that if you cast Simalcrum, that Simalcrum can summon a planetar, so if you summon one, and your Simalcrum summons one, then you have 2 planetars, which is cool.

But I thought that the Simalcrum could only cast up to 6th level spells! Is this just a glitch with my copy of the game?

The higher level you are, the higher the level of your Simalcrum.

Isn't that the way it works?

So if you are level 30 your Simalcrum should be high enough to cast a level 9 spell right?

    60% x 30 = 18

Make your life easier: Ignore the simulacrum and use project image. The image is your full level and you can summon pretty much as many planetars as you want (it's a cheesy way to avoid the one-summons rule so if you don't like cheese, don't do it).

[IMG] You can summon more than one planetar? .... I didn't know that.... wouldn't that be like overkill? Nvr mind.

I think that planetars are rather useless in the later parts of the game.

Whether you want to consider Planetars useless or not Misiek, there is a couple of useful things about them.

    1) Look at the spells they can cast, if you summon a Planetar, that relieves you of a lot of spells your chars don't have to memorise. Useful!!!

    2) Errrm, other useful thing, hmmm, useful cannon fodder :D

Oooops did I say cannon fodder ?
