[IMG] I decided to play multiplayer with a mage and a thief. On the first test before you can go to Saradush something stange happened. After I killed the first enemys, Irenikus appeared instead of the drowwarriors. Ok, he didn't do much, actually he just casted protection from evil and then waited there but this never happend to me before. Any one else experienced this? Maybe I have to say that I finished the game with my mage before but is this supposed to happen then?

  2. After you smashed the drow warriors, Irenicus, Bodhi and this other baddie (forgot his/her name) shows up.

IIRC their appearance is linked with party strength and level of your main heroes. I have played the fight with both high and low level heroes and I only encountered Bohdi and Irenicus when I was on higher level (usually about 3.500.000+ xp) ...

Are you sure? I started the ToB part already at the cap with a solo character, and never saw any of them?

Maybe overall strength wasn't high enough. I mean a level 31 sorcerer on his own isn't anything to worry about?

[IMG] :D When I played that part yesterday with two 2.500.000 xp chars and I didn't met both. When I last played it with a party, averaging 4.500.000 xp they were there. I don't know how it works, but I think that both are xp based spawns.

Maybe Extremist could decypher it (iirc he did the work on the xp based spawns for BG-2 SoA) would he eventually decide to touch ToB ... :D ;)

Irenicus and Bodhi are both potential adversaries at Core Rules and above if your experience points are high enough.

But neither is as formidable as what they used to be.

It also depends on your alignment and what you did in SoA. Originally you were supposed to be able to spare Bhodi (and Balthazar). Because they removed the ability to spare her the Global is set randomly, though your stats, exp and alignment help determine it. If the global says you killed her it brings her and her brother, Jon. if you are Evil it will almost always summon her on her own or, hardly ever, A character called Master Harper, who seems to be a mix of Gorion and Elminster. Neutral players may find Sarevok/Joneleth while the good are Stuck with the greusome twosome, Bhogi, and Irenicus
