    It's still better than any non-warrior can hope for! Besides, since the Cap'n is playing BG1, it wouldn't matter anyway. :)

    Well...Sarevok was über because he'd been adventuring a lot longer than the PC. He killed Gorion when you were still level1, so he was already fairly powerful then. Also, since you get the tomes from BG1, I don't find it cheesy if someone SKs their ability score to 103 (though I almost always chose 98).

    I tried soloing a wild mage yesterday but am already giving up...how often do you have to rest, geez :p

    That wouldn't matter for BG2, no, since by that point he'll have 19. But for most of BG1 it will matter, in THAC0, damage, and carrying capacity (much needed for a solo character).

    You should be able to carry all you need as a Solo with an 18/06, Fel. I'm sure many solo characters made it by with less STR.

    His stats are:

    Str - 18/39
    Dex - 18
    Con - 18
    Int - 10
    Wis - 18
    Cha - 13

    I wanted 16 for Charisma, but I also just wanted to get on with it >.<

    I'm at the FAI, having fought Tarnesh. I've sold the RoW, and bought full plate a Large Shield +1. Going well so far :)

    Yes, I realise I should've got the flamedance ring back first so the shield would've been cheaper due to higher rep... So sue me :p

    You're going to do just fine.

    BTW, a solo character doesn't need anymore than average CHA. You'll have enough cash for anything you want since you only need to outfit one character.

    All the extra junk will be sold for profit!

    i would have taken intelligence down a couple of notches to 8, added the 2 points to charisma, added algernons cloak to the mix (take imoen there and just dump her imediately as you can get there with out any fighting) and used the tome of leadership and you have 18 charisma and lower store prices.

    A 10 intelligence is semi-important - because with the Tome to get it to 11, it's the minimum you need to survive 3 hits against a Mind Flayers (though potions alleviate that somewhat).
