Romance Glitch?

    Hi, I have Throne of Bhaal installed but am playing the SoA portion of BG2. I hvae fixed all of the other Jaheira Romance screw ups, but now I get to a point where I was in Ust Nasta (However its spelled) The last dialogue Jaheira said was "How did the last battle mak you feel" I am now back in Athkatla, no other dialogue has been initiated, and I have no idea what to do. I searched the forums, and I found a problem exactly like mine, and I tried the CLUAConsole thing, it didn't work. I tried editing the RomaceActive thing on SK from 1 to 2. Then I kept the game unpaused for about 40 minutes, a I watched TV, no Dialogue. I really have no idea what to do about this. I want to keep playing, but when I move up to ToB I wont have the romance going on.(My lovetalk is at 52, I have patch 98 installed).-Thanks

    Well, I think its Chapter 6, or the 0ne where you must kill Bhodi for a second time. I was just playing as well, still no dialogue, but Bhodi did steal Jaheira and turn her.

    Well, if you've finished the Underdark, then yes, it is Chapter 6. If Bhodi stole Jaheira, then the romance is still active. I have not completed this romance, so I am not sure if that was the final dialog or not, but it is still active, so I wouldn't worry just yet. It is quite possible you won't get the rest until you save her from Bhodi.

    Romances need to be completed before chapter five seeming as they don't continue during the last chapters (in Chapter six maybe but it isn't always the case.) To get Jaheira to continue the Romance you MUST rescue her

    8people, that might be true with Jaheira, I'm not sure, but it is wrong with both Aerie and Viconia as I have completed both of their romances in Chapter 6. I have also had Terminisel appear after killing Bhodi for the final time.

    It IS possible to complete the romances but you don't always get to, seeming as most people go straight to the graveyard it is bit difficult but sometimes romances just refuse to work in Chapter6

    Problem with the romances for me is the time. I always do incomplet quests so that I can spend a lot of time travelling to get the dialogs to go (that and the fight stronghold quests take 7 weeks to complete).

    Romances don't count on in-game time, Romances will not happen outside Nalias' Keep, though I think Jaheira does actually. Try leaving the game running while doing something else if you cant wait or use a cheat to advance real time, though be warned if you do as it also effects quests and other things dependant on real time

    If you do that you can miss things - or get the value wrong. The best thing would be to speed up time, or gte more patient. If you mess around with variables then you miss something you can never be 100% sure that you have changed the correct variables to match everything that has - or would have happened

    What about the pause trick? I hear that works wonders to get the romance dialogs to go as well.

    Pause trick? do you mean just leaving the game on pause so it eats away real time while ignoring in-game time? Same difference as just playing
