There's one thing in BG2 that I don't get, the thing where Minsc gets outraged because you take Edwin in your party. Murderer of dynaheir and so on.... But I had Dynaheir in my party till the end. So what happened, Edwin saw the oppurtunity to kill her once I was out of the picture

 

In the intro of BG 2 their are those 'shadows', who captured you, which are creatures/mercanaries who are probebly working for Irenicus, I think they killed Dynaheir in 'my' game. (they left that one open for your imagenation)

 

BTW IMO you should never dual class Imoen. She is to good of a thief for you to decide to dual class. I personally like Xan if you want a good aligned mage. But otherwise create one yourself.

 

Xan rocks!! You guys who say he sucks don't know how to use him. First off, his stats are better than Dynaheir's. He has a decent dex, cha, and str. The main reason people say they hate him is because he doesn't get invocation spells such as fireball and magic missile. Guess what, there's this nice little necromantic spell called skull trap. It deals the same damage as fireball and it can be set in place to explode when an enemy comes too near. For the lack of magic missile xan can use larloch's minor drain. While this is far worse than magic missile it boosts his hitpoints allowing him to get in combat and use his nice moonblade. His enchantment spells aren't that bad either such as sleep, and dire charm.
