[IMG] Bad idea. Imoen is just to good for that moron. The good has been upheld, blah blah. So what that I am a do-gooder? I don't need a stupid paladin yelling about it all the time. I only he wasnt the only one to wield carsomyr :( I wish I could just cut his hand off and have my mage animate it. At least it wouldn't be so loud :D

Well if you do Imoen and Keldorn, don't fool around with Imoen behind his back unless you want to end up swinging from the end of a noose with Imoen in jail trying to remember all the tricks the Drow lesbian showed her in the Underdark.

That reminds me, what do y'all think about the author of Baldur's Gate II making Imoen into a lesbian? I guess it could make for an interesting threesome with Viconia, if she doesn't just leave Keldorn or you for Viconia herself.

You don't see any of that lesbian thing in the game, but Athans has it in the BG2 novel. Figures.

    Book spoiler follows:

    -

Yeah, Imoen was such a natural at it that she made the drow woman she was with fall in love with her, fall with such passion that as Imoen and her crew were high tailing it out of the Underdark, Imoen's drow lover had them in the sights of her crossbow but refused to shoot even at the risk of Lloth's ire, all for the tenderness she experienced in the arms of Imoen.

You know, that's the first I've read of homosexuality in the Forgotten Realms. Philip obviously takes a different stance on the issue than the one taken in the computer game because you'll have no luck finding a courtesan of the same sex. They rebuff you in no uncertain terms.

By the way, I think Philip really butchered the story telling. I hope they get someone better next time, R.A. Salvatore would be nice, or maybe Robert Jordan, someone who will make you give a hoot about the characters and develop their personalities a bit. Even some of the writing by posters on here is superior. The only thing I can do is give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that time constraints make a better work by him problematic. Oh well.

No, Athans is awful. His first novel (Baldur's Gate) was even worse. This second is maybe 10% better but still the worst I've ever read besides his first.

Anyway, you'll be glad to hear that the Throne of Bhaal novel was written by a totally different author; and he can actually write! You can get the sample chapter of the book from http://www.sorcerers.net/Books/index_fr.php
