    When I chose my paladin to ascend, I was informed that he then served good and balance - and he had been LG all the time playing. Is that just a common ending for all good characters or did the pocket plane trials make him an NG deity without changing his mortal alignment?

    I think that's just the generic good ascension ending. Though it would have taken a little more work in scripting and timing the ending, that was one of the things I always thought they could have worked on a bit more to have it better fit the alignment of the character -- along with some additional work on the "where are they now?" endings to some of the NPCs (Saravok comes to mind).

    Yes, Sarevok's ending sucks completely if he has changed his alignment. Viconia could have a different one too after the change.

    You can see all the ending movies by tinkering a bit in the BG.ini file, in the movies section. Notice that there is -something like-

    EndingMovie1=1 (where :doh: 1=True and 0=False)

    Simply add:

    EndingMovie2=1

    [IMG] Can't see that one anywhere. All my movies have a '1' after them, but there is nothing that even slightly resembles endmovie?

    No, its because you have to add it by yourself in the movie section.

    Add this under the movie section:

    ENDMVE3=1
    ENDMVE2=1
    ENDMVE1=1

    And you will have all the ending movies.

    Also, I think that Viconias ending should be better if you romances her, it just simply sucks. Good thing I downloaded the flirtpack. JCompton said it would be new endings there.
