Does anyone knows how I defeat a dragon easily??

Abuse the game: cast a magic resistance at him (if it wasn't patched, it replaces his mgr with 20 or such), then, if he's not hostile, try harm and magic missile.

Snares help a lot if you can prepare them. and it's good to call as many summons as you can and bomb the dragon with avery once-per-day-use magic item you got. Hmm, maybe backstabb?

 

Thanks my friends say use Magic Missile and defeat it. I tried but I can't do.

 

First off, buff your party with spells like Bless, Chant, Haste, Resist Fear etc. and spread them out so only one or two of them die from a big dragon breath blast Then cast a few lower resistences at the large scaly one and summon some cannon fodder to keep him busy. Then, I usually soften him up further with spells like Doom and Greater Malision, cast a few spells like breach, pierce shield etc and send the fighters in. While they're doing their thing, you should have tenderised the beast enough for stuff like slow, magic missile and (if you're lucky) Chaos or even finger of death to work, so support your beefy sword-swingers with these sorts of spells. As long as you keep the fighters alive with potions, healing etc you should eventually win like so.

 

THAT'S THE WAY!!!

Combining all skills of your party to defeat dragon with sheer numbers. Buffing, summoning, dispeling, breaching, slashing,... Its supposed to be done that way.
And its much more enjoyable to beat him fair and square.

 

In the end you must be quick since some dragons cast heal on themselves. Firkraag is sucky on that point...

 

I suggest you use Ctrl + Y if you want it easy.

 

At high level, Khelben's warding whip then multipe greater whirlwinds makes a very dead dragon.

I also read the sunfire is not stopped by magic resistance, so 3 of them in a sequencer or chain contingency could do damage to non fire dragons...

 

To defeat a dragon you must use the skills of your party members and spread them so that the dragon breath does not catch them all. I put the two melee fighters at both sides of him and i use these spells lower resistance, the druid spell with the insects (i can't remember the name right now) very usefull (he can't cast any spell) and the bolt of glory any other attacking spell must be cast after the lower resistance spell!!!!

 

And if you're soloing just put up some protections from Fire/Cold etc. And use them with other prots.
I used that on Firkraag until my fire res. was about 130%. It actually healed me! Very cool

 

Low Level:Try every protection spell get the coolest weapon,throw every spell you have after you've lowered the resistace
Mid Level:Get some protection spells,cast Lower Resistance,Finger of Death/Harm etc.
High Level:Cast power spells,planetars,mordenkainen's swords,greater whirldwinds

 

With Two Sticks (Staff of Magi and Staff of Ram)

1) Whack the Dragon with the Staff of Magi to dispel his stoneskin, then...
2) Greater Whirlwind with the Staff of Ram to finish him off....
