Maybe it's a mod i installed, but i just consoled in about 5 different clay golems (different by resource code) and i was able to kill them all with a normal +1 quarterstaff, i even checked the quarterstaff on IEEP and its enchantment value was 1. now, i'm not trying to be a know-it-all, if i'm right. if it is because of a mod i installed, then so be it. by the way PsiVen, clay golems have 50% to fire, not complete immunity like someone posted, so a couple flame arrows should do the trick

When I used the Minute Meteors, they only did 2 damage, and I don't think that was fire damage...

Except that golems are 100% resistant to magic.

I really think it's the mod. I'll try it later on.

I know for a fact that all you need to hit a real clay golem is a +1 blunt weapon. That does the little buggers in. The other golems can be damaged by other sorts of weapons, but those weapons have to be +2 or +3 to actually hit, and while I don't know the guts of the Adamantite golems, I know that even with a +5 weapon, they have quite a bit of damage resistance.

As for the trap, well, that's the downside to soloing, I suppose. There's no wizard spell for finding traps, is there? If there were, you could find it on a scroll and use that . . . oh well . . .

Are they?? I remember using chromatic orb to kill the clay golem in Nalia's keep the first time through the game. The damage was negated by the magic resistance, but it still failed its save vs death... And doesn't the cloud kill cheese work because the golems aren't 100$ magic resistant?

Of course, that being the first time through, I didn't have the official patch yet, so that might be why.

Clay Golems are 100% resistant to magic, but that doesnt stop all spells from working. The effects of some spells bypass resistance (Imprisonment comes to mind, bloody mages), and some spells completely bypass resistance

A blunt weapon +1 will hurt clay golems. Use haste and plenty of defensive buff spells like mirror image, stoneskin and blur. I think skull trap bypasses magic resistance so try that too.

A known bug with Chromatic Orb; it disregards magic resistance in its Stun, Petrification and Slay abilities.

I think the reason that works is because a bug with the Cloudkill wand, not the spell Cloudkill.

With the spell Imprisonment Magic Resistance is supposed to be ignored, but that is not the case with Chromatic Orb and Cloudkill.

Do the other wands ignore magic resistance, or just the cloud kill ones.
lol Adamite golems cast cloudkill themselves and are unafected but as soon as someone casts it against them with a wand they take dammage.
