Does it (WeiDU) give you any error massage?, if it does, can you post it here.

We might be able to help you, if you describe the problem.

Well, as I understand it, I can just pack the files in a folder (in this case, Nomadkit, with Nomadkit.tp2 and F!Nomad.2da) and put both that and Weidu (Setup-Nomadkit.exe) and pop both into my BG2 folder, right? The Weidu should unpack everything when run.

When I run it, I get a dos window with this:

    [C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\Setup-Nomadkit.exe] Weidu version 191
    <Setup-Ascension.exe} Queried <pid = 156> version = 1852 query done.
    <SETUP-NOMADKIT.EXE.DEBUG> Queried <pid = -1>

I totally missed something, didn't I? I'm trying to read through the Weidu documentation, but nothing seems to be relevant.

I have never seen that massage before, I?m not sure what is wrong, but you should have a folder call NomadKit and inside you should have the .tp2 file (with the same name), the .2DA and another folder for backup.

WeiDu should be outside of the folder (rename to Setup-NomadKit).

If that is not it, it might be the .tp2 file

Hm, I had something like that once. It was an install problem, something wrong with the .tp2. Make sure everything is exactly how it should be (check the ~'s)

And to install, you need the .exe, the .tp2 outside and in the main directory. I think.

Nope. .tp2 works just fine inside the folder (and that is recommended).

Try installing it with WeiDU 185 and see if that works.

Same thing with Weidu 184. I chcked the tilde's, but I didn't see anything wrong. Here's my tp2 file. I borrowed the comments from the tutorial file for your ease of reading. Did I forget something? I bet I did.

End removed, same problem. Checked on the says, they are as they should be; tested anyway, didn't work.

I just need to put the Nomadkit folder next to the setup-Nomadkit.exe and pop both into my BD2 directory, right? I'm not missing something between my ears there?

Moreover, inside the Nomadkit folder you have the .tp2 file the .2da file, plus another folder inside name backup.

Can you post exactly as it appears on the WieDU screen, please.

One thing that I'm concern about is the "<Setup-Ascension.exe} Queried <pid = 156> version = 1852 query done." that should not be there. I don't know why is there, but make sure that if you have ascension, that is properly packed as well.

Questions like this are more likely to get rapid and correct answers at a modding site, such as http://forums.gibberlings3.net or http://forums.pocketplane.net :)

    No. It should be:

    Code:
    SAY ~nomad~
    SAY ~Nomad~
    SAY ~NOMAD: Foo~
They're strings for lower-case, mixed-case and general info descriptions.

The Ascension bit is WeiDU checking all versions of itself to make sure they are up to date. So all this message means is you have Ascension in your BG2 folder, and it is up to date.

You don't need the END, as was mentioned.

Are you sure you are running setup-nomadkit.exe and not just WeiDU.exe?

Try uninstalling Ascension, reinstalling it, and then installing Nomadkit. If that doesn't work, uninstall Ascension and try to install Nomadkit. I had a similar problem, and I uninstalled the mod it mentioned, reinstalled it, and it worked.

Or perhaps uninstall Ascension, install Nomad, then install Ascension again. IIRC, Ascension likes being last.

Kit basically works now, thanks to Andyr at G3. Some issues with the Find Traps and Goodberry abilities not resolving. Am looking at a solution.
