    [IMG] Hunter
    Advantages:
Bonus Racial Enemy per 6 levels
May call Hunting Dog (Basiclly find famillar but always a dog and can't be carried in backpack)
Automatic prof in all bow type weapons (crossbows, long bows, and short bows_
    Disadvantages:
    Cannot cast spells
    -25% to stealth
No automatic two weapon style specialize

Now for the questions. Can you get multiple racial enemies and where can I find a detailed tutorial on kit making, creature making, and dialogue making (for the dog)? Oh and constructive critazism is welcome.

I don't believe you can implement multiple racial enemies (but I may be wrong).
What about the Moon Dog figurine? The dog familiar addition seems a bit superfluous...
Nevertheless it's a nice idea, are you thinking about making a new NPC or just a PC kit?

The decreased stealth seems illogical to me. Stealth is central to successful hunting. If anything, I'd increase it as per the Stalker.

Why not limit the weapon choices to only hunting weapons? I'd prevent the use of 2-handed weapons (except for the spear) for obvious reasons - nobody hunts with a halberd, after all. Along those lines, I'd disallow bastard swords as well. Blunt weapons should be outlawed too, because no one runs up to a deer with a club.

Thanks, and I'll take all that into consideration. Check back later...

[Edit] Still taking ideas and first let me figure out the kit before NPC...

NP. Racial enemy is a single field, with a single value.
There are actually two dog familiars already in the game (but unused), so this would be easily implementable. So long as you attached dialog files to the CRE files, it'd work just fine. I can give you information on the two CREs if you like. :)
Not sure that's possible without changing hard-coded class stuff.
    I believe that's called a fighter. ;)

Oh and FYI, there is an Elven F/T kit called the Huntsman, if you're interested in making a true-to-PnP kit. :)

EDIT: Eh, nevermind about the Huntsman thing. It's more of a people hunter than an animal hunter.

With a little roleplaying does not the Archer kit with a stronghold (and thus eventually the Moon Dog - super cool btw) give you pretty much what you want?

Called shot beats any genocidal ability any day!
    Esp from distance...like a hunter!

Here's my idea of a Hunter. By all means, make your own... just this is my vision.

    Bonus:
    +25% to Stealth
Gains "Sneak Attack" once per 5 levels
Can summon Hunting Dog once a day/3 levels
Can get 4 stars in bows (all types) and crossbows.
Can get 3 stars in Daggers, Short Swords.

    Negatives:
Cannot wear greater than Studded Leather (who is going to hunt anything in full plate?)
Cannot become specialized in Maces, Flails, Hammers, 2-Handed Swords, Staves, Halberds, Bastard Swords, Katanas/Scimitars (limited to 1 star).

    Sneak Attack:
For one round, attacks are SET to 1 but that attack is an automatic hit with a +1 dmg per level bonus.

If when you code the automatic hit, it has to be a Critical too, remove the bonus damage.

You could just do what they did with the Arrows of Detonation in BG1 to make those automatic hits: give a 20-point THAC0 bonus. You might want to make it 30 or 40 points to make sure for those really low AC enemies, though. You'll still have the 5% chances for critical miss or critical hit (since the bonus doesn't affect the actual roll), but they balance out.

i would have the set snare in there aswell, as most hunters would use bear traps and the like to make their quarry an easy target.

Plus, this class is starting to sound too much like a Fighter/Thief as it is.

    Ok
    A) Hunting Dog - More like a familar...
    B) MABY traps, if your lucky, maby every 5 levels, a lesser version maby, not range trap maby.
    C) DR is right, its starting to sound more and more like a F/T.
    D) NO sneak attack.
    E) Its supposed to be class that is to have bonus with their racial enemies accually.....

Oh yeah, more news, there is going to be a npc... Heres a description of the pup.
Name: Hunting Dog (will include a collar which you edit for its name..... you can do that right)
    Class: Fighter (for buttons)
    HP: Undecided... thinkin maby 20
Special Abilities:Tracking, Sick (does a few extra damage points), Smell Enemies (A combination of detect invsible and illusion)
Think maby thats a little unbalanced? I don't know.

Okay, let's clear up a few things:

True, but it is still possible to script in multiple racial enemies using permanent after death spells. This one is possible.

Not possible. The only way to do it would be to give this kit the same requirements as the archer or stalker and that would cut off some of the weapon proficiencies that you want.

This kit is way overpowered. I would weaken it before making the mod.

It can be done. Since the useability values for the stalker and archer are essentially the same, all you need to do is hi-jack the Archer table and re-assign the Archer to use the Stalker table. Proficiencies, however, are another story......you're right about that.

Ok how about this? Take the defult class weapon useability value and just set it so that the kit can place more stars in one weapon and less in another? Everybody happy now?

[Edit] Another thing. About the NPC; New Portrait and Audio will not included (simply because I can't do it). Portrait is "custom" so to speak, I just didn't make it or had it made. I found it at portrait city. If you don't know what that is check portrait sites at the Pocket Plane Group Infinity Engine Modlist
