    sorry, i just saw Sylvus Moonbow as a wizard so i'm guessing you become a wizard after 500 posts.

    [​IMG] I suppose Nazgul will start coming here when Pool of Radiance is released. He's our news guy for that game and he didn't play the others we cover.

    All new forum users have the rank of Acolyte until they make 50 posts. After that, they're promoted to Apprentice.
    And that's the end of story for just about everyone who doesn't know me personally. ;)

    Wizard status is reserved for regular forum moderators (Sylvus being the only active one at the moment, besides Nazgul).

    There can be only one Sorcerer, and that'd be me, your gracious host. In case anyone doesn't know yet, I run the site these boards are running from ( http://www.sorcerers.net/index.php ). I am also the guy who started these forums a few months ago.
    As you've probably noticed, I also moderate and administer Boards O' Magick. (Where you're at right now ;) ).
    Posting and replying to your topics and questions is also something I do quite frequently. Like, every day. :cool:

    Actually, on some UBB boards, once you hit 1000 posts, you can change it to whatever you like, apart from moderator or administrator (wizard and sorcerer respectivaley)

    Ok, correction.
    It is an excellent idea if you want to create a board filled with idiotic one-liners or messages with one or two words or sometimes just an emoticon.
    All because people will do anything to get to 1000 posts so they can brag with some title that sounds like something made up by a drunken DM flying through space at Warp 9.

    Sounds familiar? It's based on an ongoing example. ;)
