Starting ToB, where's my party?

    OK I played BG2 with a Wizard Slayer and finished. Now with that character most of the best items are with your NPC's (esp Minsc and Aerie). So how do I get them into ToB with kit. Tried installing late PM then starting by importing from last save = man char plus others minus all equipment.

    Im obviously being dumb surely you are not meant to loose all that equipment?

    Reload the final save from SoA and beat Irenicus once again. Then after the final scenes, your party will be transported into ToB with all their equipment and the game begins!

    Also, you can start ToB, then New Game, then Import Game and load a save game from SoA. Best one after you did 4 Tears of Bhaal to get the bonuses (I skipped the selfish test, because you lose 1 DEX when you do it the good way).
    Then you will start with all your party and all the stuff but in the first ToB area.

    OK sorted it though killing Jon again was a pain (3 attempts). Longest fights ever used 15+ summons.

    All I need to do now is adjust my main char slightly, I gave him 5* in axes trouble is hes a Wizard Slayer, a restrictive class and to be honest he needs a wider shoice of weopens. So im trying Shadow Keeper out to re-allocate slots...no improvement defeats object. Can just about justify this to myself.
