Edwin will not give me the time of day

    Edwin "appears busy" each time I try to talk to him for the first time in Mae Var's guild. Is there some way to get him to pay me some attention?

    Do you have the official patch? The 'X appears to be busy' is a common bug in unpatched game when you play under Windows XP.

    Or, quick save and quick load your game till he talks to you, this worked for me. :p

    The official patch should take care of the "Appears Busy" bug. You can find it here. Use only the ToB patch if you have ToB (as your posting in this forum would indicate).
