Is there a mod somewhere that improves these kits without making them overpowered? I think I saw a mod somewhere designed to improve them, but the Wizard Slayer at least seemed to become overpowered instead of balanced.

I was thinking something along the lines of giving the WS 2% MR per level (instead of 1% up to 20, when it becomes 5% every other level). It would amount to the same sum: 80% at level 40, but give the lower levels a bit more power. I don't know if anything more should be done to balance them, what do you think?

For the Beast master, I'm not quite sure what would be balanced, but my idea would be to make them be able to use spears (can be made of wood) and perhaps one single-handed weapon aside from clubs (though I can't find one that fits the kit's theme). It might be a good idea to give them level 4 druid spells as well, but I don't know if that could be implemented (actually, since I don't know much about programming, I am not sure if any of this can be implemented).

So, does anyone know of a mod that sound similar to this, or know of someone who might be interested in making one?

BG2 Fixpack - Wizard Slayers Cause Miscast Magic on Ranged Attacks
The original kit description of the Wizard Slayer states as a kit advantage: "For each successful hit on an opponent, 10% cumulative spell failure penalty is applied". However, it was only applying this effect on melee hits. The Core Fixes do not change this and the Game Text Update clarifies the kit description to specify melee-only. This component allows players to extend the ability to both melee and ranged attacks and updates the kit description.

Ashes of Embers - Wizard Slayers will now have an 8% base MR, with a +4% Magic Resistance bonus per level. This is capped at level 17, at 72%.

RPG Dungeon Kit Pack - description

BG2 Refinements - This mod changes HLA for all classes and kits (Readme).

Try Shadowkeeper and change them to berserkers, stalkers, or archers.

    @ Razfallow
The component from the BG2 fixpack is a very good idea, which I totally forgot about. The MR progression from Ashes of Embers gives a bit too much power to the lower levels, and the RPG Dungeon Kit Pack improvements are also a bit too much IMHO. BG2 refinements isn't really what I was looking for either, since I am more concerned about the SoA part of the game and a balanced early game.
Thanks a lot anyway though! :)
