Jaheira Romance (Again, probably)

    [​IMG] I'm sure you guys have probably heard this one before, but I'm having problems with the Jaheira romance. My LT is set at 52 and the JaheiraRomance Active doo-hickey is set at 1, but I can't get that Dermin fella to appear. I want to get this wrapped up fairly quickly as I'm ready to go give Jonny-Boy a slap. Advice anyone?

    I cleared out Suldanessalar, but decided I'd try to finish the romance before I went after Irenicus because I didn't know if romances could continue in Hell (I've read these boards enough to know what's coming next). I went off to Watcher's Keep and had fun killing the Chromatic Demon, when Jaheira kept repeating the "How did that last battle make you feel?" dialogue. I'd have to pause the game and rest to get her to shut up. I downloaded the romance guide, which said that I'd need to be outside to get Dermin to appear. I headed out and I've tried visting/resting in just about every outdoor location: de'Arnise, Trademeet, Windspear/Umar Hills, all over Athkatla, but not a peep from our friendly neighbourhood druid. Any ideas? :confused:

    Forcing Dermin out won't help much. You'll still be stuck afterwards. What might help is lowering by 1 the chapter (global variable is called "CHAPTER"). That should force Dermin out and all conducting romance dialogs. However, you should return the chapter to original value later.

    Because you're stuck on the point where Jaheira keeps saying the same thing, you will need to force the romance variable onwards manually, by setting Jaheira's LoveTalk variable to 57. After resting that should move onto the next point in the romance, though I don't know how closely this is linked (if at all) with the appearance of Dermin.

    Lowering the chapter number worked a treat, thanks big guy! However, now my LT has jumped to 55, and Dermin won't turn up so I can kill him. The romance guide says it should take 2 days, game time. It's been a week now, and quite a while real time. Bah! :mad: Cheers for all the help, and sorry to be a pain in the arse, but any advice would be appreciated.
