I could make NPCs for each kit variation of each class plus one each of multiclasses.

And then, after, you should make dialogues and romances and quests for them and then you would end up jumping from a very tall building

^Come oon, it can'T be THAT hard, I am sure Kuemper is quite capable of creating interesting banters/romances. She can also ask for help from the guys here!

I voted 'other', mainly for a bit of variety, something like a thiefling, or one of the 3e 1/2 drogons would be cool and a bit out of the ordinary. Another drow would be nice (only 2 atm afaik). For the kit I voted Ranger/Cleric, but only because there are none in the vanilla game, now that I've thought about it a bard or a fighter/thif would be good.

Actually, there are 2e half-dragons as well, and I have the appropriate resources to help should kuemper want to make one. And for the record, Sheena is a relatively new NPC mod that is a half-dragon F/M. Check her out if you want to.

:nolike: BWL seems to be down again; I can't get in either. Try again tomorrow; it's probably just routine maintenance.

Should be a kind of a thief, maybe Half-Ork (I like them somehow and there is no Half-Ork NPC).
I'd love to meet an evil thief ;)
    *sniff*
    I miss Montaron...

I've always been keen on a monk/thief dual-class. Since monk animations exist only for humans, though, I can conceivably see only humans *or* half-elves (multi-class) in such a role. It's a shame dwarves and the like can't be monks in BG. As for existing monks in the game, I'd love to be able to take Anishai along. In fact I've considered doing an NPC mod for her, but with school/work I haven't the time, really.

Edit: of course it makes more sense to go from a thief to a monk, dualling around thief level 9 or 10. Preferrably this would be a multi-class for a half-elf so one could keep advancing in both areas of expertise.

Try PnP. In regular 2e, the Fighting-Monk is simply a cleric kit, and can be taken by any race, with only the comment that the taller races "seem more visually suited". If only someone would make a mod w/ new animations... :bad:

The Monks that are in the game remind me of the first edition monks for some reason. They are indeed very simular in the things that they get and everything. They were also their own class as I recall.

I said a F/M Half orc but what I'd really like to see would be a Half orc wild mage with a greater surge rate and some extra effects. :)

Damn I need to learn to design characters...

Sorry for being the Big Downer, but what's wrong with staying within the 2E/BG2 rules?
