    [IMG] At a quick glance it might seem that the evil choices make you more powerful but IMO it's not so.

    In general the evil path is good for a fighter type character and the good path is great for a magic-user.
    For Greed and Pride the good path is best in all cases.
    For Selfishness it depends on how important one Dex is to you, but the good reward is much better than the evil reward in that case.

    @Padine
    By choosing the evil path at one test your alignment is changed to neutral evil and you lose one reputation point (and btw paladins become fallen :evil:

    @Earl Grey
    I agree with both of your posts, I just was too lazy to type that +20% resistance to elements was better ;) And also you're right, good paths are better for magic-users and evil for fighters.

    And I know that, that has already been told but Hell is the worst place in the whole BG Saga. How the h**l should a neutral character roleplay in Hell.

    Well, as the originator of this thread broadened the subject to query about the bonuses in hell, I must say that I disagree with Earl Grey. I think choosing only the good path is usually OK for strictly mage types (where no one in the party wants the Blackrazer...?). Realistically, the dark side is most often the route to power. Unfortunately, if you choose one evil choice, then your alignment is evil. SK still thinks I'm lawful good, but the program knows better. I've already commented on the inappropriateness of others (Viconia and Sarevok) being able to change alignments, while the hero can not. Back to the subject, you can look at the bonuses provided by each path and make the correct choice for your particular character.

    Has anyone made a mod so that your aligment has a little more variation. there are 5 test surly your could have a few more alignments or maybe some way of changing your alinement. i think the reason you can't be neutral is for the tests in the pocket plain. back to the topic. assassins rule uspecialy with use any item.

  8. [IMG] Ragusa, I did tell him about how to solo a fighter... Mine was just a suggestion of a multi/dual classed fighter though ;)
