    @Stu
    Yes, but what's the point? You delay the kill, and you need the monster killed, don't you?

    It's not very good if you return from the dungeon, laden with loot, and find that a monster had freed itself and you have to kill it once again.

    Besides, a very important point: Maze can be countered with magic resistance. In TOB, most monsters have magic resistance in abundance.

    There is one thing I wonder when it comes to ability rolls: aren't there a mod for those who wants to have at least statistic equal to Sarevoks? (18/00, 17, 18, 17, 10, 15) Without having to sit for an hour or playing as a ranger?

    Kaine, you can insert a line
    Cheats=1
    in section "game options" in Baldur.ini file in your BG directory.
    Then press Control-8 when you roll your abilities, and you'll get all 18's (and 18/00 for strength). If you want to decrease it, you're free to do so.

    Use ShadowKeeper. Then you can have 25 in all stats and 100 resistance to everything along with all the special abilities you might want.

    Or you could enable the cheats as per above, find the proper codes from an items list and console in stat raising manuals.

    Most of them don't work in BG2.

    They will if you pause the game, right click on a potion and click on the drink potion button, return to the inventory screen, replace the potion with the tome and then go back into the game (play screen)

    @Kulyok - Maze is not supposed to be a cast and forget spell. It can be used to put a powerful enemy out of the fight long enough to deal with their minions or set traps so that when they do return they are killed.

    Maze is a nice spell, though I don't use it much. I mazed a dark knight (or something like that) in ToB and it came back after a few rounds.(VERY intelligent) and it was nearly killing me!
    Have Abi Dalzim instead.

    Please do not use cheats. If you want high stats, roll for HOURS if needed. At least you feel you deserved therm. :)
