But its just so more fun to hack **** pieces in this game. Actually disintegrate is fun too, but not very practical. Besides fighter sorc will have a lot of advantages over sorc, such as more hp, better saving throws, higher thaco (although that may not neccessarily be advantage to sorc). The reason why fighter/sorc is so much better than mage/fighter imo is that he wont ever run out of buffing spells until you need to rest. And if he can keep his buffs on he has offensive spells to boot. Thats opposed to a f/m who might only memorize two stone skins, and then is helpless as a kitten when his stone skins run dry (and we all know thats true, until they get pro magic f/m's life blood is stone skin, we talk about our wonderful stats that we get with stones and robes and blah, but thats all bull ****, we need that stone skin to survive like we need air,)

I couldn't care less about the power factor, they just seem like an incredibly cool class to play ;)

If you want a K/S or a K/S/A then all you need to do is pick a Sorcerer and use SK to edit the stats at the start and give all the level up advantages, saves etc on level up everytime, and give the UAI ability and your done, can get tedious but it should work.

Are you kidding me? Thats a complete waste of time imo. I can rig any char I want any way. Besides that would mean I would constantly have to divide my total exp by 2 and check the fighter tables to figure out when I have a level up. That along with my sorc eventually becoming much higher level than he should, would break the game to pieces.

Ah, checked in with my friend... what he actually did was rig a sorcerer to have kensai THAC0, saves, etc. that carry over on level-ups. He's got a nice little cheese thread running over on TeamBG as well as a whole page of cheesy topics. He goes by the handle "Userunfriendly" on the TBG, FWS, G3 and FWP boards so some of you may already know him.

Warning: this is absolutely not for the lactose-intolerant. ;)

as the other stated, no u cannot become a kensai\sorceror.

you might become it somehow by using cheats and hacks, but there is another way.

create a kensai and at level 9 or 13 dual class him (must be a human) to a mage and there you go, you now have a kensai\mage, almost the same as a kensai\sorceror

you should learn the 2nd edition ruleset my friend.

as to all the other off topic stuff.....i'll just keep myself at a safe distance

Completely possible. There's even a book for running Dragon campaigns.

With a good DM anything is possible, though the two of you may have to draw up some sort of agreement on balancing if you wanted to do such a thing in 2E.

It's a fantasy world, with the right storyline for justification, and an inventive mind to create it (and to make all the alterations to insure it doesn't ruin the fun of the game), you can do anything you like. Anything.
