[IMG] Does anyone have the Soulaufein Mod? I picked him up as an NPC in the underdark and thought that he was a very cool addition. There were two other difficult battles that happen with him in the party, but I managed. Now I am well into ToB thinking that I am virtually indestrutible and I get telleported into some crazy pit and have to fight this insane evil part led by a cleric of eclipse. I didn't even kill one of their party members before everyone in my party was dead! Help me! I need tactics advice.

Yeah, I encountered them too, and they were just impossible. I tried alot of times, even using spells before they came and also right before the cutscene. No luck. Just to get on with the game, I had to use a little spell called death field

They're the eclipse party and in the download, you should find a couple of readmes. One of these answers questions about Sola's new battles with three or four walkthroughs by people who 'beat' the eclipse party.

I have tried some of the tactics from the read me, and I think they must have had different mods than I do because I am just having my ass handed to me. BEWARE THE ECLIPSE!

I have beaten the eclipse party but unfortunately I can't remember which tactics worked. I was running an all spell caster party where everyone had either stoneskins or ironskins plus I would have had a lot of spell sequencers and contingencies pre-set for massive buffing. If you can, you might want to try setting a chain contingencied triple Horrid Wilting and try manuvering that character so it hits a couple of the eclipse fighter types.

I just beat them. Chain Cont with 3 Horrid Wilting was a good tactic. I also used the teleport field to move them around. All mages used Prot. Magic Weap. & Energy. Summoned elemental princes & Planatars. Constant G. Whirlwind with fighters. I went after their fighters first. Then focused on spellcasters. Used about ten or twelve breach and even more remove magic. I still lost two party members (Vic & Soula). This is the fourth time I've played through this game (first with Soula Mod.) and that was by far the most challenging fight I've ever had.
