Anybody can confirm if a swashbuckler dual classed to cleric can dual wield anything other than clubs? I am interested in dual wielding maces...

A dual classed Cleric/thief can wield Clerical weapon as any multi/dual Cleric, so you could dual wield mace, but you won't be able to backstab but since the swashbucler can't backstab that isn't a problem

True enough. The thing is that the swashbuckler part comes first. If I can't get UAI as a HLA then I won't be able to get 2* mace as a swashbuckler and so perhaps won't be able to use these weapons at all, since the restrictions stay when dual classing...

You'll be able to have 2 prof. slots in "clubs" and "quarter staff" (a bit hard to dual wield that one, though), and 3 slots in "two weapon fighting style". You'll still be able to use maces, warhammers and flails, but you can only be 'proficient' in those categories.

I'm playing a swashbuckler(10)/cleric(24) right now, dual-wielding runehammer and ice star...

Cool advice! I can't wait now. I will multi class at a much higher level though. Perhaps level 25? Not sure yet.

You can dual wield staff maces. ;)

If you have all the patience and perseverance in the world, then you can dual your swashbuckler to cleric at level 25 and then get to level 28 cleric. We'll then have the rather strange sight of a cleric who can specialize and use katanas and shortbows and even do a whirlwind with it....

The latest level to dual is 26 IIRC and how can you get a whirlwind? Is that a Swashie HLA?
