    Hi all.

I've just downloaded Kevin Dormer's "keep Bg1" items tweak... to use it you must paste three files into the override folder. However, I noticed that one of these was the rather important looking "baldur.bcs", all the other files in the Baldurdash fixpack are for SoA only and Dormer is at pains to point out that they should be uninstalled before a ToB installation.

Is this also the case with this one?

I am worried that changing that baldur.bcs file will ruin everything.

You should probably be careful, yeah, since copying the file straight to override will break any mods which alter BALDUR.BCS. So I'd advise against doing it if you are using any other mods. You may be fine with ToB, though, since that uses a different script (BALDUR25.BCS).

    Still, keep a backup.

You could use the downloaded script, then delete it and restore the original after the first area (as I'm pretty sure that's the only place where the script will differ).

You could always just pause the game (when the screen is black, just before you cry out), drop your inventory, and unpause the game.

The inventory is on the floor of the cage when Imoen releases you.

It unbalances the game a little, though.

The other option would be to download the MTS Trilogy of Crap V2.

Thanks to The Bigg, it appends Baldur.bcs rather then override it.

    Hi all,

Recently completed BGTutu by killing Sarevok...

Only trouble is... when I import my PC all his equiptment has gone - I've got a mod that lets him keep it AND I've tried the early pause trick but he has nothing on him!!!

I've checked with another save game (an old ToB final save) and it works ok with that, i.e. full equiptment but not with the BGTutu import...

Any ideas as to why this is?

Because BG1Tutu changes names of all game files (e.g. SW1H01 is changed to _SW1H01). Items in your character's inventory don't exist in BG2.

Is there any way to edit that?

Well, not really, unless you take the ultra-tedious approach of going through your inventory with ShadowKeeper and switching the Tutu items for their BG2 equivalents. I would definitely not recommend trying to change the name of the items within Tutu, as badness would almost certainly result. ;)

Humpf!!! So does this mean that I, more or less, have no choice to start BG2 with no items at all?

Damn it! I think it is entirely inconsiderate of Irenicus to take all my hard earned gold and items :p
