The only problem with Sarevok is that I found him to be stunned or charmed relatively often in Watcher's Keep. I solved that problem with chaotic commands and proper equipment. From a punch point of view Sarevok is definitely better ... just remember the deathbringer attack.

And Sarevok has much better lines in ToB than Keldorn, so if you want a good role-play experience then choose him!

Alright, time to throw in my two cents here.

Sarevok rocks. Plain and simple. When your entire party is dead or dying, and that (insert really tough enemy here) is bearing down on you, and you think all is lost... there is nothing sweeter then having Sarevok gib the big bad monster with a deathbringer assault.

Dispel magic is admittedly nice, but it will not kill strong enemies in one blow. So, Sarevok all the way.

Don't be a ninny and ditch him for role playing reasons. Remember, keep your friends close, and your enemies... even closer.

This all depends on what type of fighter your looking for. If you want the average balanced warrior take Keldorn. If your looking for the invincible godlike killing machine with completly unbalanced stats and chances to deliver 300 points of damage grab Sarevok.
