I was playing through BGII again. I had completed all of the stronghold quests and was cleaning up a few odds and ends. One of them was Kangaxx. I had imported in the Axe of Unyielding +5 and the Crom Faeyr just for this fight. I gave them to my dwarf beserker and had him go beserk. I quickly dispatched Kangaxx the lich. When the demi-lich form appeared I paused and told my dwarf to attack. My very first hit was a vorpal hit with my Axe of Unyielding. I killed him in one hit before he could get any of his spells off. The funny thing is the Axe of Unyielding's vorpal hit is decapitation. So what I did in essence was decapitate a floating skull!!

    [IMG] Nuts!
Kangaxx really ought to have been immune to that effect.

    Sylvan,

I believe that Ray is merely pointing out that this is in the wrong forum. I don't think it's a big deal, not really a spoiler (other than revealing the weapon).

I was playing multi-player with myself, because I find most of the npc annoying. I also wanted to play with both a monk and a beserker. When I was about to fight Kangaxx I just brought in my old ToB character and gave my beserker the axe. I then deleted my old character. Thus giving me the weapons I needed.

In the sewers of Amn - Beholder lair When the boss of the unseeing eye apperas. You had to construct a rod of some great power :) But when i encountered the biggy beholder i cruched it to poieces alone with my paladin (dont ask how i dont know anymore). So what was the point of having that heavenly rod???

...Well on secont thought that isnt so intresting :(

Hmm, yeah, Kangaxx really should be immune to that. It is pretty funny though.

One time, I succeeded in charming Kangaxx. Made him imprison himself. It was hilarious!

Morgoth, the cloak of mirroring works pretty well for that sort of thing as well.
