    [​IMG] I'm starting a new game, with ToB installed, with a female PC, but I'm getting tired of just having Anomen romance me. Before I download any mods, I wanted some opinions on characters.

    The choices I've looked at are Kelsey and Chloe, but if you have any other suggestions, feel free to post them.

    Never tried any of these romances or mods for that matter, but I know Solafein is romancable by either sex!

    You can romance Imoen with the romance mod, with either sexes, though I hear the dialogs are very different with male and female NPC's (I've only tried male) and as for the controversy of romancing a so called "sibling" (which I think is ridiculous to think of it that way and it is it's only through Bhaal essnce anyway who was a god) this has been discussed before on the boards, just use search on TOB and SoA forums and look up "Imoen" if you want to see them.

    Now, I've been going for Solaufein...
    But somehow I don't feel exactly satisfied by him nor the existing romance choices.
    Hmmm, my guess is that BG needs an evil romanceable male, badly! :evil: :grin:

    As Chloe was written by a real live lesbian, it's certainly not INTENDED for that purpose.

    As for Edwin romance... one is being worked on in all earnest.

    And that Edwin romance sounds like it'll be fun! I can't wait! There's a Valygar one in the works, too, that I know of.

    Just to go back and comment on Solaufein, his alignment is dependent upon your PC's alignment - it isn't fixed like all the other NPC's. If you are playing a good or neutral PC, Sola will be Chaotic Good, as was stated above. However, if your PC is evil, Solaufein will be Chaotic Neutral. AFAIK though, he will never be Chaotic Evil.

    The Chloe character is quite oddly balanced however. She's too powerful to retain any fun in the game.

    As for Kelsey, I've never liked that mod. The voicing seems a little... out of place. That is considered to be the best NPC mod in existence currently.

    Sola would be the one I'd recommend out of the bunch, but the fights in it are ridiculously challenging and there's some modern references in it. Also, he has no voicing at all.

    It doesn't actually affect his behavior in any way, though. It only impacts his character sheet.
